Le rapport 2021 de France Tiers-Lieux intitulé « Nos territoires en action. Dans Les Tiers- Lieux on fabrique notre avenir » souligne le nombre croissant de ces espaces. On en dénombre plus de 2500 en 2021 et l’on en prévoit près de 3500 en 2022. 27% d’entre eux sont qualifiés de culturels. Alors que les contours de cet objet restent encore flous (Besson, 2018), il est un autre angle d’analyse moins souvent adopté mais qui peut contribuer à le caractériser. Il s’agit de la dynamique collective du tiers-lieu culturel en tant que structure. Gender differences in child and adolescent daily activities : a cross-national time use study

This study used 2009–2015 time-diary data to examine gender differences in daily activities among children and adolescents aged 10–17 in Finland, Spain and the UK ( N = 3517). In all three countries, boys were significantly more involved in screen-based activities and exercising and girls in domestic work, non-screen educational activities and personal care. Gender differences in socializing time were only significant in the UK, with girls socializing more than boys. Can absence restore authenticity? The case of Strasbourg Christmas Market

The Strasbourg Christmas Market (MNS) was greatly impacted by the pandemic in 2020. This research delves into the role of absence in the consumption experience through fifteen semi-structured interviews with regular MNS attendees and ethnographic observations of the MNS's iconic locations. Our findings indicate that individuals, affected by two lockdowns and the pandemic's social and economic repercussions, are eager to rediscover the city without overbidding. The absence reinforces the imaginative value of the MNS, imparting renewed significance. Association of Serum Procalcitonin With Cardiovascular Prognosis in Coronary Artery Disease

Background: Procalcitonin (PCT) is an established biomarker for the diagnosis of sepsis. Evidence is growing that PCT concentration correlates with the extent of atherosclerosis and prognosis in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Methods and Results: A total of 2,131 patients with CAD were followed up for a median of 3.6 years. During follow-up, death from cardiovascular causes was registered in 95 patients and non-fatal myocardial infarction in 85 patients. Median and quartile 1 and 3 are reported for PCT concentration. Patients who died of cardiovascular causes had higher PCT concentrations [0.021 (0.012/0.036) ng/ml vs. 0.015 (0.010/0.023) ng/ml; P<0.0001]. Patients with acute …

Fine-needle biopsy of parathyroid adenomas

High-resolution real-time sonography was performed in 15 cases of clinically and chemically suspected primary hyperparathyroidism and in 20 patients with different thyroid nodules. The suspected enlarged parathyroid glands and the thyroid nodules were percutaneously punctured under sonographic control. Concentrations of parathyroid hormone, human thyroglobulin, and human calcitonin were measured in the aspirate, and immunocytology was performed. The mean concentration of the aspirated parathyroid hormone in the parathyroid glands was 4,013.6 pmol/l +/- 4,519 (SD) as compared with 14.9 pmol/l +/- 8.7 in the thyroid nodules.
