Heinäkuussa 2011 Norjaa kohtasi pohjoismaiden historian pahin terrori-isku, kun Anders Behring Breivik tappoi 77 ihmistä. This study compares media depictions of tick-borne disease in the United States and China, attempting to enhance newspaper influence in health information delivery in both countries. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää, millaista ravitsemusjournalismia esiintyy Suomen suurimmassa sanomalehdessä, Helsingin Sanomissa, ja naisten luetuimmassa erikoisaikakauslehdessä, Hyvä Terveys -lehdessä. Tutkimusaineisto koostui vuoden 2010 Helsingin Sanomista ja Hyvä Terveys -lehdistä kerätyistä ruokaa ja ravitsemusta käsitelleistä jutuista (n=682). Aineisto analysoitiin sisällönerittelyllä, jota varten laadittiin luokittelurunko ja -ohjeet. Aineistosta valittiin osa-aineisto (n=23) diskurssianalyyttistä tarkastelua varten.
