Microgastrinae is one of the largest subfamilies of the Braconidae with about 2,000 described species worldwide. These wasps are of enormous ecological interest due to their role in controlling the caterpillar populations. This study analyses diversity and community structure within the Microgastrinae in the Artikutza Forest, located in the Peñas de Aia Natural Park, western Pyrenees, Spain. The specimens were collected in two different habitats: mixed forest and beech forest. A total of 524 specimens, belonging to nine separate genera and 27 species were captured. On-chip purification of arc-discharge synthesized multiwalled carbon nanotubes via mobile liquid interface

This thesis reports a novel approach for purification of carbon nanotube (CNT) samples deposited on smooth silicon substrates through a mobile liquid interface interacting with carbonaceous debris particles that contaminate the deposition. The method is based on physical interaction of the particles and the three-phase contact line via capillary interface forces, i.e. the surface tension, which results in the detachment of chemically indispersible colloids from the sample surface. Regulation of motility of cells from marine sponges by calcium ions

Sponges are known not to contain muscle and nerve cells. Since sponge cells are characterized by high motility we determined the effect of intracellular calcium ion concentration ([Ca2+]i) on their motility. Addition of the Ca2+ ionophore ionomycin to dissociated cells from the marine sponge Suberites domuncula caused in Ca(2+)-containing artificial seawater (ASW) an increase in motility from 0.2 micron/min (absence of the ionophore) to 3.7 microns/min (presence of ionomycin). When the experiments were performed in Ca(2+)-free medium, no effect of ionomycin could be observed. In parallel experiments the changes of [Ca2+]i using the dye Fura-2 were measured. W wyniku co najmniej dwóch istotnych procesów społecznych (migracje z Ukrainy oraz rozwój współpracy międzynarodowej w obszarze szkolnictwa wyższego) znacząco wzrosła liczba obcokrajowców w raczej monokulturowej do tej pory Polsce. Oprócz tego w związku z tzw. kryzysem uchodźczym oraz zamachami terrorystycznymi w Zachodniej Europie, obcokrajowcy, zwłaszcza zaś muzułmanie, stali się mocno widoczni w polskich mediach. <p style="text-align: justify;">L'effet colloïde-protecteur d'extraits mannoprotéiques de parois de levures vis-à-vis de la précipitation tartrique a été étudié en solution hydroalcoolique, en utilisant un IST mètre (Indice de Stabilité Tartrique).</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Nous avons montré que les deux extraits levuriens inhibaient la cristallisation du bitartrate de potassium au même titre que l'acide métatartrique et la carboxyméthylcellulose, mais à un niveau plus faible. Oikeus- ja kulttuurihistorian alaan sijoittuvassa tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan itsenäisen Suomen opetus- ja kirjastotointa koskeneen oikeudellisen sääntelyn syntyä sekä sääntelyyn sisältyneitä yhdenvertaisuuden elementtejä. Huomioitavaksi tulevat niin vallinnut yhteiskunnallinen ja oikeuskulttuurinen konteksti kuin sivistyksellistä yhdenvertaisuutta koskenut arvo- ja oikeusperustakin. Arvojen ja oikeuden yhteys nähdään tutkimuksessa kiinteänä. Sääntelyyn sisältyneiden yhdenvertaisuuden elementtien ja tarkasteltavaa ilmiötä ympäröineen historiallisen tilan analysoinnin lisäksi tutkimuksessa kiinnitetään huomiota valmistelu- ja päätöksentekoprosessiin, jonka kautta sääntely muodostettiin.
