Compound conditionals, Fr\'echet-Hoeffding bounds, and Frank t-norms

Abstract In this paper we consider compound conditionals, Frechet-Hoeffding bounds and the probabilistic interpretation of Frank t-norms. By studying the solvability of suitable linear systems, we show under logical independence the sharpness of the Frechet-Hoeffding bounds for the prevision of conjunctions and disjunctions of n conditional events. In addition, we illustrate some details in the case of three conditional events. We study the set of all coherent prevision assessments on a family containing n conditional events and their conjunction, by verifying that it is convex. We make a probabilistic analysis related to some inference rules which play an important role in nonmonotonic reasoning. In a coherence-based setting, we study the extensions of a probability assessment defined on $n$ conditional events to their quasi conjunction, and by exploiting duality, to their quasi disjunction. The lower and upper bounds coincide with some well known t-norms and t-conorms: minimum, product, Lukasiewicz, and Hamacher t-norms and their dual t-conorms. The Norwegian Folktales, collected, transcribed and re-written by Per Christian Asbjørnsen and Jørgen Moe from 1842, had a pivotal role in the shaping of a cultural and linguistic identity in the emerging nation-state. After four centuries of ‘union’ where Denmark and Sweden were the dominant partners, Norway was finally declared an independent nation state in 1914. Two streams of literature have become especially prominent in understanding social change toward sustainability within the past decades: the research on socio-technical transitions and applications of social practice theory. The Role of Self-Control and the Presence of Enactment Models on Sugar-Sweetened Beverage Consumption: A Pilot Study

The objective of the present research was to investigate associations of dispositional and momentary self-control and the presence of other individuals consuming SSBs with the consumption frequency of sugar-sweetened beverages (SSBs) in a multi-country pilot study. We conducted an Ambulatory Assessment in which 75 university students (52 females) from four study sites carried smartphones and received prompts six times a day in their everyday environments to capture information regarding momentary self-control and the presence of other individuals consuming SSBs. Social enterprises are hybrid organizations that tackle societal challenges by using conventional business models. Being hybrid organizations means that social enterprises pursue dual objectives: social (developmental) and financial. By taking performance, subsidization and internationalization perspectives, this thesis contributes to understanding the hybridity of social enterprises and how this hybridity drives their general operations and key decisions such as foreign market selection and targeting strategy.

This study aims to examine a well-known inscription (IG XII.5, 225) dated to the mid-fifth century BC and found in Paroikia, near the acropolis of the ancient polis of Paros. It shows a typical formula of access limitation to local cults: according to most scholars, the cult in question is to be identified with the worship of Kore Astos (the Citizen), who is mentioned in the second line. The Dorians are excluded from this cult, as is shown by the expression (xenoi Dorie) appearing at the beginning of the text in a very relevant position. Este artículo tiene por objeto conocer el grado de normalización y la adecuación de las revistas científico-técnicas españolas del campo de las Ciencias de la Actividad Física y el Deporte a diversos apartados clave de las normas ISO 8-1977 e ISO 215-1986. A partir de la observación directa de los fascículos, se han confeccionado dos índices para calcular el Grado General de Normalización (GGN) y el Grado Fundamental de Normalización (GFN). Los resultados indican que el ajuste de las publicaciones a la norma ISO 8-1977 es equivalente a la de otros campos españoles como el de Economía y el de Tecnología, mientras que es menor en la norma ISO 215-1986.
