Conceptualisation et évaluation d'une typologie de lotissement vertical pour un aménagement urbain durable
2020
The current urban development process is the result of a paradoxical situation. On the one end, families prefer individual housing, which finds the favourable conditions to its spreading in the more or less distant from towns outskirts, while wishing to benefit from services (proximity to amenities, public transport offers, etc…) which are rather the corelate of dense urban centralization. On the other hand, in order to fight against environmental, social and economic costs of urban sprawl, and also aim towards a more sustainable city, the urban renovation and compact city projects lead to some density levels that only collective housing enables to reach. So, the equation - control of the u…
La ville, la raison et le rêve : entre théorie et utopie
1996
City, reason and dream : between theory and utopia. — This paper aims at comparing two kinds of discourses about the city, that of the microeconomics of cities, which is admitted in the realm of science, and that of Utopian cities, which is not. We analyse the processes of thinking which lead respectively to theory and utopia, then we compare the ideas of man and society upon which they are grounded. Finaly, we try to enhance the similarities and disimilarities between the two series of urban space representations to which these approaches lead. This comparison may contribute to a better understanding of the real nature of the theoretical discourse and lead both to a relativization and a va…
Evaluation of French and New Zealand Sauvignon wines by experienced French wine assessors
2010
International audience; Certain odours are commonly associated with the bouquet of Sauvignon blanc wine. These characteristic varietal odours can vary to reflect origin of a Sauvignon blanc wine. In the present study, Sauvignon blanc wines from sub-regions of Marlborough, New Zealand, and from north France (Sancerre, Loire, and Saint Bris) were investigated in terms of (i) distinctiveness of country of origin, (ii) odour profile, and (iii) the concept of typicality (Ballester, J., Dacremont, C., Le Fur, Y., & Etievant, P. (2005). The role of olfaction in the elaboration and use of the Chardonnay wine concept. Food Quality and Preference, 16, 351-359). Twenty-three experienced French wine ta…

Un modèle radiocentrique pour l'analyse des espaces ruraux périurbains
1995
Research on periurbanisation’s factors, a phenomenon that has greatly contributed to the demographic growth of French rural areas for the last twenty-five years, leads us to ask about the determinants of residential location in rural areas of people working in a town. In order to answer this question, it is necessary to transpose residential location models usually used at the scale of the town - models which are the basis of the New Urban Economics school - to periurban areas. The area we are interested in is differentiated both from urban and rural areas seen from the agricultural production point of view. But we show that it can be analyzed in the same manner as urban areas. However, thi…

Le projet PeaMUST
2012
