Radio Emission from SN 2001gd in NGC 5033

We present the results of monitoring the radio emission from the Type IIb supernova SN 2001gd between 2002 February 8 and 2002 October 28. Most of the data were obtained using the Very Large Array at the five wavelengths of $\lambda \lambda$1.3 cm (22.4 GHz), 2.0 cm (14.9 GHz), 3.6 cm (8.44 GHz), 6.2 cm (4.86 GHz), and 21 cm (1.4 GHz). Observations were also made with Giant Meterwave Radio Telescope at $\lambda$21 cm (1.4 GHz). The object was discovered optically well after maximum light, making any determination of the early radio evolution difficult. Studies reporting numbers of eggs in vagina and utero in nematodes often give little information of the technique used for the estimations. This situation hampers comparison among studies, because, so far, differences in estimations provided by different techniques have not been assessed. This note examines whether a manual method based on visual counts in aliquots and an automated method using a Coulter counter yield equivalent estimations of egg numbers in vagina and utero of 3 anisakid nematode species (Anisakis simplex, Pseudoterranova decipiens, and Contracaecum osculatum). We want to present the José Gestoso's unpublished epistolary, a rich source of information. It preserves the correspondece received by this person between 1875 and 1917. Gestoso was a researcher of Sevillian Art and History and thanks to his job had relationship with very important people in the XIX century and early XX; this is shown by his correspondence. We considerer this epistolary an important source of information and its diffusion would be useful for the investigations of Art History and Archeology. Bakalaura darbs veltīts zemes lietojuma izmaiņām Preiļu novadā esošo purvu teritorijās pēdējo 80 gadu laikā. Latvijas Kūdras Fondā reģistrētas 22 kūdras atradnes 12 598 ha platībā, kas atrodas mūsdienu Preiļu novada teritorijā. Izstrādājot bakalaura darbu aspekotas 11 kūdras atradņu veitas un arī lielākās purvainās platības, kas nav iekļautas Kūdras Fondā. Bakalaura darba mērķis: ir aspekot Preiļu novadā esošo purvu un kūdras atradņu teritorijas, un raksturot zemes lietojuma veidu izmaiņas pēdējo 80 gadu laikā un to galvenos ietekmējošos faktorus. Crowdsourcing for innovation contests represents a promising mechanism to access and integrate external ideas. Among various crowdsourcing types, online, team-based contest is one of the most prominent one. The objective of this study is to deepen the understanding of team-based crowdsourcing by exploring specifically the issues that characterise the innovation process of crowdsourcing in a virtual team setting. To empirically pursue this aim, we conducted an interview-based case study leveraging interviews of 106 solvers and 24 facilitators moderating the team of solvers, which have participated in contests through the IdeaConnection crowdsourcing platform.
