The widespread availability of Continuosly Operating Reference Station (CORS) all over the world, allows to improve more scientific and technical studies on the use of satellite positioning techniques. This paper presents the first results of the MMS (Mobile Mapping System) survey on the geometry of the A20 italian motorway Messina-Palermo. The layout parameters are the essential data for an effective management of a single or a road network. This work is an example of survey for the map update and run with handheld GNSS and differential corrections data through the network of permanent stations. This case study is about urban drainage systems and lighting subnets within a limited area of the town of Roccamena, Italy. The survey has the primary target the planning of engineering data needed to implement a GIS, the study was performed as mode NRTK with correction VRS, affected, in particular, the wells of public lighting, the wells of white water and sanitation, in addition to the drains around the town, on a total area of approximately 33 square kilometers. TEST DI POSIZIONAMENTO CON RICEVITORI IBRIDI GPS-GLONASS

In questo lavoro viene svolta un’analisi su test di posizionamento effettuati con ricevitori ibridi, per valutare l'apporto che la costellazione satellitare Glonass può dare ai rilievi NRTK (Network Real Time Kinematic) in condizioni di geometria satellitare GPS critica. I test sono stati condotti variando intenzionalmente le configurazioni geometriche dei satelliti appartenenti alle costellazioni GPS e Glonass, passando da rilievi solo GPS (9+0, 8+0, 6+0) a GPS-Glonass (4+5, 3+5, 2+5). Time series analysis in the UNIPA NRTK GNSS network

Today GNSS coordinate time series analysis was evaluated to determine accurate position. The aims of this project is a preliminary combination of raw data to obtain the initial accurate parameter estimates of the stations in order to compute error bounds for all parameters of the model. Case of study is UNIPA NRTK GNSS: this network is located in Italy, central western of Sicily and is composed of nine permanent stations. The coordinates of the reference stations were established in IGS05 (epoch 2005.0) and ETRF89 (epoch 1989.0) system. Il lavoro qui presentato consiste in un rilievo integrato (Topografico/GPS statico/NRTK/Laser Scanner) di un piccolo contesto extraurbano siciliano, Borgo Schirò, noto per le vicende storiche che portarono alla sua costruzione a seguito dell’emanazione della legge n.1 del 2 gennaio 1940, per il superamento del latifondo.
