Sharing economy and incumbents' pricing strategy: The impact of Airbnb on the hospitality industry

Abstract In this paper, we examine how the emergence of sharing economy platforms influences incumbents' price responses. Grounding on the literature on price reactions to new entrants and on the unique characteristics of the sharing economy, we argue that the effect of the penetration of the sharing economy on incumbents' prices is not straightforward, and actually depends on the type of incumbents as well as certain product/service offer characteristics. The objective of this work is to know the organic structure of the officers and subordinates of the Royal Court of Majorca during the 18th century, which was the essence of the high judicial administration insular. Because of that, we approached through these relatively extensive professionals, with the description of their functions, who they were and how they obtained their charges. The article ends with an epilogue dedicated to the enlargement of the Royal Court with the creation of the second chamber during the reformist stage of Charles III to improve the high judicial administration insular.

El presente artículo recoge la experiencia educativa en el aula de Lenguaje Musical de las Enseñanzas Elemental y Profesional del Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Torrente (Valencia), debido a la instalación de la pizarra digital en el aula de Lenguaje Musical. Se muestra el proceso de adaptación docente a la aplicación de esta nueva tecnología que, supuestamente, puede facilitar el aprendizaje de esta materia a los educandos; al mismo tiempo que se recogen los problemas en el uso de la misma en el aula de música de las Enseñanzas de Régimen Especial y las necesidades formativas de los docentes de la especialidad de Lenguaje Musical para poder utilizar este recurso en sus clases.

Para el análisis de este problema se utiliza el modelo de 'espacios controversiales' propuesto por Nudler, definiendo uno de estos espacios en torno a la aplicación de las tecnologías informáticas en las enseñanzas universitarias.
