Energiajuomien ja päihteiden käytön väliset yhteydet 9.-luokkalaisilla : WHO-Koululaistutkimus

Energiajuomien käyttö on suosittua nuorten keskuudessa. Myös päihdekokeilut ja päihteiden käyttö yleistyvät nuoruudessa, erityisesti yläkoulun aikana. Tämän pro gradu -tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää 9.-luokkalaisten energiajuomien ja päihteiden käytön yleisyyttä ja niiden välisiä yhteyksiä. Lisäksi tarkasteltiin koulutusorientaation ja päihdekokeilujen aloitusiän yhteyttä energiajuomien käyttöön. Objectives: This study examined the association between cannabis use, fast-food consumption, overweight and obesity in 28 countries using data from the 2010–2016 Global School-Based Student Health Survey. AbstractAt Risk Mental State (ARMS) clinics are specialised mental health services for young, help-seeking people, thought to be at ultra-high risk of developing psychosis. Their stated purpose is to reduce transitions from the ARMS state to clinical psychotic disorder. The relationship between social anxiety and cannabis use among adolescents and young adults is a highly debated topic. In this cross-sectional study, we tested whether cannabis use expectancies mediated the association between social anxiety and cannabis use severity in a sample of 343 young adults (74.3% male) who used cannabis.
