This study explored drivers of participation in job-related lifelong learning (LLL) among low-educated mature-aged employees and compared them across four Nordic countries. Workplaces can be low-threshold, effective arenas for development of their skills in work and learning. The paper builds on the Bounded Agency Model and theories of learning motivation, human capital, and workplace learning. We used data from the Survey of Adult Skills (Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies) by Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. AbstractNordic media and communication research had reacted to the ethnically/racially and culturally changing societies since the 1980s, and the multidisciplinary field of migration, ethnic relations and the media has been shaped. This overview draws upon existing body of research, particularly on recent literature since the early 2000s, and aims to sketch out the rough lines of Nordic media research by mapping and comparing developments in this area. Nordic countries are the most gender equal countries in the world, but at the same time they have disproportionally high prevalence rates of intimate partner violence (IPV) against women. High prevalence of IPV against women, and high levels of gender equality would appear contradictory, but these apparently opposite statements appear to be true in Nordic countries, producing what could be called the 'Nordic paradox'. Despite this paradox being one of the most puzzling issues in the field, this is a research question rarely asked, and one that remains unanswered. Summary In the preceding paper it was shown that Kupffer cells isolated by digestion of the liver and purified by centrifugal elutriation can be activated in vitro by lipopolysaccharide and muramyl dipeptide to an enhanced superoxide response upon zymosan phagocytosis. Lipopolysaccharide and muramyl dipeptide also led to a strongly increased prostaglandin E 2 release during the phagocytosis of zymosan. This activation was accompanied by an increased production of prostaglandin E 2 during the incubation with the stimuli. The positive mental health and well-being perspective represents innovative public health research of first-rank priority in Europe. Sammendrag Store deler av Norge ble digitale da landet nærmest stengte ned våren 2020. Denne artikkelen dreier seg om hva som skjedde da kirker og menigheter byttet kirkerommet med det digitale rom som følge av korona-pandemien. Det ble holdt gudstjenester og til og med «servert» kirkekaffe på nett. Artikkelen bygger på en undersøkelse som viser at 72 % av norske kirker og menigheter produserte nettbaserte samlinger under koronakrisen. 749 kirkeledere i hele Norge har deltatt i den omfattende kartleggingen som fant sted fra 15. april til 10. mai 2020. A partir de l’aportació de 1953 de Samuel Gili i Gaya sobre el mossàrab de Lleida, ha estat acceptat com un lloc comú de la filologia catalana que el romanç andalusí lleidatà coetani de la conquesta comtal (1149) tenia característiques afins al català nouvingut. Tant la poca consistència de la documentació aportada com les dades fornides pels historiadors rebaixen aquest lloc comú a mera hipòtesi de treball sobre la filiació d’una varietat lingüística amb tota probabilitat extinta abans del segle XII.
