Most descriptions of collision events introduce coefficients of friction and tangential restitution which vary significantly with the impact angle, in contrast with the independence of the normal coefficient of restitution with this parameter. Brazzein is a small (6.5 kDa) sweet-tasting protein originating from the fruit of Pentadiplandra brazzeana, a plant found in West Africa. Brazzein like all classes of sweet compounds is perceived through the activation of the T1R2/T1R3 heterodimeric sweet-taste receptor. T1R2 and T1R3 subunits are members of the small family of class C G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs). Class C GPCRs possess a large N-terminal domain (NTD) linked to seven transmembrane domain by a cysteine rich domain (CRD). The NTD of T1R2 (T1R2-NTD) has been shown to contain the primary binding site for most of the sweet ligands. Šajā darbā tiek aplūkota problēma – kā temporālajā loģikā formalizēt informācijas pārvietošanās koncepciju? Šīs problēmas kontekstā izvirzīts darba mērķis – inkorporēt informācijas pārvietošanās koncepciju loģiķa Artura Normena Praiora A–sērijas temporālajā loģikā. Artikkelissa tarkastellaan sitä, miten nukkumista ohjeistettiin 1800-luvun lopun ja 1900-luvun alkukymmenten suomalaisessa terveysvalistuksessa ja mitä hyvän unen avulla tavoiteltiin. Artikkelissa kysytään myös, ketkä nukkumisohjeita laativat, kenelle ne oli suunnattu ja millaisesta ajattelutavasta ne kumpusivat. Unihygienia eli nukkumiseen ja liittyvät ohjeistukset olivat osa kansainvälistä hygienialiikettä, joka oli vahvimmillaan juuri 1800-luvun loppupuolella. Ne liittyvät myös suomalaiseen sivistyneistön kasvatusprojektiin, jonka tavoitteena oli vahva, terve ja siveellinen kansa. In questo articolo rispondo alle critiche e ai commenti alla mia ricostruzione della concezione del potere di Michel Foucault proposti da Bruno Celano, José Juan Moreso, Marco Segatti, Alessandro Spena. Mi concentro in particolare sui seguenti aspetti: la connessione fra la nozione foucaultiana di potere e il conflitto; la distinzione fra potere disciplinare, potere governamentale, e potere normativo; la concezione foucaultiana della libertà come autorialità; ciò che Foucault può suggerire riguardo ad alcune “macchie cieche” della teoria del diritto contemporanea.

Abstract A major risk factor for many flood-related drownings is driving through floodwater. We aimed to understand Australian drivers’ experiences and beliefs with respect to avoid driving through floodwater using the theory of planned behaviour as a framework. Study 1 (N = 23) used a qualitative design to gain an in-depth understanding of individuals’ experiences with driving through floodwater. Study 2 (N = 157) used a survey-based design to identify the factors related to this behaviour including knowledge, beliefs, and social-cognitive factors. Tezą niniejszej artykułu jest twierdzenie, iż specyficzną cechą pisarstwa w dziedzinie teorii polityki jest jego trangresywność, a więc przekraczanie niektórych norm. Oznacza to, że podejmuje ono polemikę z wzorcem naukowości, który wyraża się w formalnych regułach, stanowiących aktualne kryterium naukowości. Obranie perspektywy teorii polityki, inspirowanej dorobkiem Pierre’a Bourdieu, pokazuje, że przyjęta definicja nauki jest kluczową stawką w grze toczonej na polu nauki, w tym na „subpolu” teorii polityki.
