Ultrasonic characterisation of poroux materials

International audience; Acoustic models of the acoustics of porous and perforated media involve a set of physical parameters. Some of the parameters, the tortusity, the viscous and thermal characteristic lengths are defined for a perfect incompressible and inviscid fluid saturating the porous medium. It is shown that ultrasonic propagation in air-saturated materials can be used to determine these parameters. A basic method involving air-coupled ultrasonic transducers is presented. Variants of this method and a practical implementation of one of these is proposed.

L’art. 32 della legge n. 183/2010 ha sollevato molteplici questioni applicative legate alla sua infelice formulazione. Il saggio analizza il controverso perimetro applicativo del comma 4, lett. c) e d), inerenti rispettivamente la cessione del contratto di lavoro avvenuta ai sensi dell’art. 2112 c.c. e i casi in cui si chieda la costituzione o l’accertamento di un rapporto di lavoro in capo a un soggetto diverso dal titolare del contratto. L’Autore fornisce le coordinate per una corretta interpretazione, opportunamente restrittiva, delle previsioni decadenziali alla luce del dato letterale e del diritto dell’Unione europea.

I.e., although they fall under the antecedent of the norm we do not wish to allow the consequence to follow. In such cases, we sometimes say that we are abandoning, or discarding, the norm. We concede, that is, that the alleged norm was wrong (or, if you wish, that it was no norm at all). At other times, however, it is claimed that the norm is a defeasible one.
