Dabiskās valodas apstrādes jomā valodas noteikšana vai valodas uzminēšana nozīme noteikt satura dabisko valodu. Runas valodas noteikšanas uzdevums ir noteikt runas audio ieraksta valodu. Runas valodas noteikšanai ir daudz pielietojumu. Tas ir svarīgs pirmais solis vairākās runas apstrādes sistēmās. Ja valoda tiek identificēta nepareizi, jebkura turpmāka apstrāde sniegs kļūdainus rezultātus. Tas ir īpaši svarīgi daudzvalodu kopienās, kur daudzas vairākas valodas tiek izmantotas salīdzinoši bieži. Šī darba mērķis ir izpētīt runājamās valodas noteikšanas metodes, koncentrējoties uz 3 Latvijā runājamām valodām: latviešu, krievu, angļu.

B-doped diamond has become the ultimate material for applications in the field of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), which require both highly wear resistant and electrically conductive diamond films and microstructures. Despite the extensive research of the tribological properties of undoped diamond, to date there is very limited knowledge of the wear properties of highly B-doped diamond. Abstract Recent advances in nano-technology and nano-additives can give enhanced properties to natural hydraulic lime (NHL), creating a multifunctional material. We have prepared a novel nanocomposite, made of a commercial mortar with 1 wt% and 5 wt% added titania nanoparticles (NPs). These TiO 2 NPs are themselves doped with 1 mol% silver, to give the material enhanced photocatalytic and antimicrobial properties. Microrobots and metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have been identified as promising carriers for drug delivery applications. While clinical applications of microrobots are limited by their low drug loading efficiencies and the poor degradability of the materials used for their fabrication, MOFs lack motility and targeted drug delivery capabilities. Statistical Approximation of Fourier Transform-IR Spectroscopy Data for Zinc White Pigment from Twentieth-Century Russian Paintings

We present a statistical model for approximation of experimental Fourier transform-IR spectroscopy (FTIR) data for paint samples from paintings of different ages. The model utilizes random variations in some parameters (initial ageing rate, degree of change in ageing rate and time at which the change occurs). We determine the parameters characterizing variation in the paint composition and the storage conditions for the paintings. The numerical calculation is qualitatively consistent with the experimental data. Glaukomas ārstēšana un tās ārstēšanai izmantoto medikamentu aprite aptiekās

Maģistra darba mērķis bija pētīt glaukomas ārstēšanu un tās ārstēšanai izmantoto medikamentu apriti aptiekās. Maģistra darbā aprakstīts glaukomas saslimšanas risks, tās diagnostika. Lielākā riska faktora – intraokulārā spiediena ietekme uz glaukomas progresiju, kā arī tā samazināšanas iespējas. Aprakstīti Latvijā pieejamie medikamenti gan monoterapijai, gan kombinētai terapijai ar fiksētu aktīvās vielas koncentrāciju. Iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka glaukomas ārstēšanai visbiežāk izmanto monoterapijas medikamentus – 56,9%, bet fiksētas kombinācijas medikamentus 43,1%. Glaukomas medikamentu tirdzniecībā nav novērojama sezonalitāte. Visi pacienti ar glaukomas diagnozi medikamentus saņem ar 100%…

Autore veic salīdzinošu analīzi, sastatot seriāla un krājuma raksturojošos aspektus. Īpaša uzmanība veltīta montāžai, sižeta specifikai, kā arī seriāla skaniskajam noformējumam un mākslinieciskās izteiksmes līdzekļiem. Darbs sastāv no divām nodaļām.
