Resumen: La carga mental es el conjunto de requerimientos mentales, cognitivos o intelectuales a los que se ven sometidos los trabajadores a lo largo de su jornada laboral. El presente estudio pretende conocer la prevalencia de los niveles de carga mental en profesionales de Enfermería de varias unidades de hospitalización de un hospital, así como su relación con el turno de trabajo y otros factores sociodemográficos y laborales. Para ello se ha realizado un estudio cuantitativo de carácter descriptivo, prospectivo y transversal. Przedmiotem glosy jest wyrok Naczelnego Sądu Administracyjnego z 8.01.2020 r., I OSK 2392/19, w którym przyjęto tezę, że art. 17 ust. 5 pkt 1 lit. a ustawy o świadczeniach rodzinnych prawidłowo zinterpretowany powinien być w ten sposób rozumiany, iż pozbawia prawa do świadczenia pielęgnacyjnego tylko do wysokości otrzymywanej emerytury. Teza tego wyroku jest całkowicie sprzeczna z treścią przywołanego przepisu.
