Abstract Background The aim of this population-based study was to report on the incidence, treatment and prognosis of synchronous colorectal carcinomas. Methods Data were obtained from the population-based cancer registry of Burgundy. Results Between 1976 and 2004, 15 562 colorectal cancers were diagnosed. Abstract Objective To design a fast algorithm that evaluates the degree of correlation of recordings among single trials (CoRaST) for mismatch negativity (MMN) activity. Conventionally, mismatch negativity (MMN) is analyzed through the calculation of the difference waves. This helps to eliminate some exogenous event-related potential (ERP) components. However, this reduces the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). This study aims to test whether or not the optimal digital filtering performs better than the difference waves procedure in quantitative ERP analyses in an uninterrupted sound paradigm.
