This thesis has two goals: the first one is to improve the control techniques in quantum mechanics, and more specifically in NMR, by using the tools of geometric optimal control. The second one is the study of the influence of Hamiltonian singularities in controlled systems. The chapter about optimal control study three classical problems of NMR : the inversion problem, the influence of the radiation damping term, and the steady state technique. The currently available nebulization devices have a slow aerosol flow and produce vapor with large microdrops. Improved devices that achieve higher airflow and produce smaller microdrops are needed to improve the clinical care of patients. To address this critical need, we developed a novel system for the molecular vaporization of liquids. This device vaporizes an active pharma-cological substance dissolved in water, alcohol, or a mixture of water and alcohol using two energy sources at the same time: high-frequency ultrasound and thermal induction. A previously undocumented association between earthworms and red wood ants (Formicaaquilonia Yarr.) was found during an investigation of the influence of wood ants on the distribution and abundance of soil animals in boreal forest soil. Ant nest mounds and the surrounding soil of the ant territories were sampled. The ant nest mound surface (the uppermost 5-cm layer) harboured a much more abundant earthworm community than the surrounding soil; the biomass of the earthworms was about 7 times higher in the nests than in the soil. In this paper, the preparation, chemical-physical, technological and in vitro characterization of nanostructured lipid carriers (NLC) carrying R-flurbiprofen ester prodrugs, were analyzed for a potential pharmaceutical application. R-flurbiprofen was chosen as a model drug because it has been found to play an effective role in counteracting secretases involved in neurodegenerative diseases, although it does not cross the Blood Brain Barrier (BBB). En el siglo XIX las nodrizas fueron representadas en la prensa española reproduciendo los esquemas del modelo social androcéntrico imperante. Se pretende describir y categorizar la visión de la nodriza reflejada en la prensa española mediante el análisis de contenido de las fuentes periodísticas de este período.
