Zirgu sporta attīstība Latvijā starpkaru periodā

Pētījums ir veltīts līdz šim historiogrāfijā neaplūkotai tēmai – zirgu sporta attīstībai Latvijā starpkaru periodā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt zirgkopības un zirgu sporta attīstību Latvijā no 1919. – 1940. g., analizējot ar zirgu sportu saistītu struktūru un organizāciju darbību. Lai to izdarītu, tika apskatīta vispārējā situācija Latvijas zirgkopībā un zirgu sportā pirms Pirmā pasaules kara, analizētas jātnieku un zirgu sagatavošanas programmas, kā arī izpētīta tādu biedrību kā LZSOS, AZSK, Liepājas jātnieku biedrība un a/s „Rīgas hipodroms” struktūra un darbība, galvenokārt apskatot avotus, kas pieejami LNA LVVA. Samokontrola rozumiana jako zdolność do odraczania gratyfikacji i umiejętności koncentracji na celu w efekcie decyduje o wytrwałości w działaniu i osiąganiu celów życiowych. Autorka uzasadnia, iż kształtowanie umiejętności samokontroli jest zbieżne z celami wychowania resocjalizującego i dlatego nie można pomijać w oddziaływaniach resocjalizacyjnych wzmacniania samokontroli u wychowanków. Ponadto autorka wykorzystuje badania nad mechanizmami samokontroli do opracowania wskazówek metodycznych do pracy resocjalizacyjnej.
A post-exercise infrared sauna session improves recovery of neuromuscular performance and muscle soreness after resistance exercise training

The aim of this study was to investigate effects of a single infrared sauna (IRS) session on postexercise recovery of neuromuscular performance, autonomic nervous system function, subjective sleep quality, and muscle soreness. Male basketball players (n = 16) performed two trials consisting of a complex resistance exercise protocol (maximal strength with plyometrics), followed by either 20 min passive recovery (PAS) or IRS (temperature 43±5°C), in a randomized crossover design, with trials separated by one week. Our aim was to explore higher education students’ response and self-regulatory processes plus the relationship between these, as evidenced in two types of performance-based critical thinking tasks included in the Collegiate Learning Assessment (CLA+) International instrument. The data collection consisted of 20 cognitive laboratories. The data were analyzed using a qualitative approach. The tasks were found to trigger different response and self-regulatory processes.
