Līdz ar cilvēktiesību atzīšanu un attīstību starptautiskajā telpā, aktualizējās arī tiesiskuma nodrošināšanas jautājums. Tiesiskums ir viena no kopīgajām vērtībām, kas ir Eiropas Savienības pamatā. Tiesu varas neatkarība ir būtisks priekšnosacījums tiesiskuma nodrošināšanai. Tomēr tiesu varas neatkarības principa pārkāpumi un ar to saistītā problemātika, pastāv vēl mūsdienās. Changes in food habits amongst Norwegian adolescents in 2016 and 2019 according to gender and socioeconomic status

Background: Monitoring dietary habits is important in order to identify risk groups and as a basis for targeted public health initiatives. Objective: To study trends in consumption of selected foods and beverages from 2016 to 2019 amongst Norwegian adolescents according to gender and parental education. Design: Repeated cross-sectional study amongst 25,996 adolescents, aged 14–17 years old. Consumption of selected food and beverages was measured by an online food frequency questionnaire and general linear models were applied to estimate changes in dietary habits. Approximate Bayesian computation (ABC) [11, 42] is a popular method for Bayesian inference involving an intractable, or expensive to evaluate, likelihood function but where simulation from the model is easy. The method consists of defining an alternative likelihood function which is also in general intractable but naturally lends itself to pseudo-marginal computations [5], hence making the approach of practical interest. The aim of this chapter is to show the connections of ABC Markov chain Monte Carlo with pseudo-marginal algorithms, review their existing theoretical results, and discuss how these can inform practice and hopefully lead to fruitful methodological developments. peerReviewed

The article is based on the hermeneutic phenomenological approach in action research. With the development of electrical stimulation technology, traditional transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) technology has been found to have the drawback of not targeting a specific area accurately. Studies have shown that optimizing the number and position of electrodes during electrical stimulation has a very good effect on enhancing brain stimulation accuracy. At present, an increasing number of laboratories have begun to optimize tACS. However, there has been no study summarizing the optimization methods of tACS. Bakalaura darba tēma – „ Trauksmes līmenis kardioķirurģiskiem pacientiem un ar to saistītās komplikācijas postoperatīvajā periodā”. Tēma ir aktuāla, jo katru gadu, pēc statistikas datiem, Latvijā sirds operāciju skaits saglabājas tūkstoša apmēros, t.i. sirds vārstules operācijas, miokarda revaskularizācijas operācijas, kombinētas operācijas (koronāro artēriju šuntēšana + vārstules korekcijas, protezēšana).
