Izmantojot divus elektrodus un nanovadu ir iespējams izveidot nanoelektromehānisku sistēmu kas darbojas kā mehānisks slēdzis. Nanovads ir pievienots pie viena elektroda, pieliekot līdzstrāvu starp abiem elektrodiem rodas elektriskais lauks, kas noliec nanovadu pie otra elektroda. Palielinot spriegumu panāk to, ka elektriskā lauka spēks pārsniedz nanovada elastības spēku un tas nonāk kontaktā. Lai to panāktu starp elektrodiem jābūt salīdzinoši lielam līdzspriegumam, kas pēc nonākšanas kontaktā var sabojāt nanovadu. Kalcīts un tā veidošanās apstākļi augšējā devona Daugavas svītas dolomītos Latvijas centrālajā un austrumu daļā

Bakalaura darbā “Kalcīts un tā veidošanās apstākļi augšējā devona Daugavas svītas dolomītos Latvijas centrālajā un austrumu daļā” ir raksturotas minerāla kalcīta fizikālās īpašības, mikroelementu saturs un veidošanās apstākļi. Pētījumi veikti 8 dolomīta atradnēs; ģeoloģiskajā griezumā un atradņu teritorijā salīdzinātas kalcīta īpašības. Testētas kalcīta fluorescences izpausmes, pētīti plānslīpējumi, raksturoti kalcītā sastopamie mikroelementi un oglekļa stabilo izotopu attiecības tajā. Secināts, ka kalcīts kristalizējies no atmosfēras ūdeņiem sauszemes apstākļos. Šis minerāls veidojies paleokarsta procesa beigu stadijā pēc iegruvumu izveidošanās. The quest for a spin-polarized organic light-emitting diode (spin-OLED) is a common goal in the emerging fields of molecular electronics and spintronics. In this device, two ferromagnetic (FM) electrodes are used to enhance the electroluminescence intensity of the OLED through a magnetic control of the spin polarization of the injected carriers. The major difficulty is that the driving voltage of an OLED device exceeds a few volts, while spin injection in organic materials is only efficient at low voltages. Tutkin tässä työssä kulttuuriperinnön arvottamista museoissa ja arkistoissa. Säilytyspäätöksiä, kuten hankintoja, seulontaa ja poistoja tehdessään museot ja arkistot joutuvat määrittelemään erilaisten aineistojen arvoa, minkä seurauksena tietyistä objekteista ja asiakirjoista tulee osa pysyvästi säilytettävää kulttuuriperintöä. Vertailemalla museoarvon ja arkistollisen arvon muodostumista, arvottamispäätöksiin vaikuttavia tekijöitä sekä arvottamisen kriteerejä, menetelmiä ja eettisiä kysymyksiä pyrin luomaan kokonaisvaltaisen kuvan siitä, miten kulttuuriperinnön arvo muodostuu. Cells of extramammary Paget's disease express cytokeratins different from those of epidermal cells.

The patterns of expression of cytokeratin polypeptides which are closely correlated to routes of differentiation of epithelial cells were studied in extramammary Paget's disease. Cytokeratins of uninvolved and involved epidermis were analyzed by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis of microdissected tissue preparations as well as by immunofluorescence microscopy using cytokeratin antibodies with different specificities. In uninvolved epidermis, cytokeratins Nos. 1, 5, 6, 10, 11, 14, and 16, characteristic of keratinocytes, were found. Quasi-Fractional Models of Human Tendons Hereditariness

In this study, the authors, after collecting a series of experimental evidences following a creep and relaxation tendon campaign, propose a non-linear model of the viscoelastic behavior of the tendons. The ligaments investigated are the patellars and the hamstrings. The analytical model proposed by the authors aims to explain the non-linear hereditary behavior of these tissues and proposes an approach with which to develop a hereditary fractional-order non-linear model.

Tutkielma käsittelee Suomen 21 kulttuurihistoriallisen maakuntamuseon kokoelma- ja säilytystiloja sekä museoiden toiminta-alueellaan tekemää yhteistyötä alueen paikallismuseoiden kanssa vuoden 2016 tilanteesta. Tavoitteena oli selvittää maakuntamuseoiden kokoelmatilojen kuntoa, määrää ja kokoelmatyöhön käytettävissä olevia resursseja, sekä minkälaisia kehittämissuunnitelmia museoissa on museoesineiden säilytystilojen osalta. Toisena tavoitteena oli selvittää maakuntamuseoiden alueellaan tekemää kokoelmatoimintoihin liittyvää alueellista yhteistyötä.
