Consumers' attitude towards rice cooking processes in Korea, Japan, Thailand and France

UT: 000317947100009; International audience; Concerns and attitudes towards nutrition, health, safety, commodity, and sensory appeal are the factors determining cooking processes in one's everyday life. A picture-word matching task was conducted in order to compare consumer's opinion on seven common rice-cooking processes (rinsing, soaking, adding other kinds of rice, cereals, and beans, brown rice germination, rapid-boiling, pressure-cooking, and steaming) in Korea, Japan, Thailand, and France. Przyjęto założenie, że egzaminom przysługuje funkcja systemotwórcza – profile zadań egzaminacyjnych stają się modelowymi przykładami praktyki edukacyjnej, mają wpływ na organizację procesu dydaktycznego oraz na strukturę efektów kształcenia. To szczególnie istotne w sytuacji, gdy reforma programowa nie ogranicza się do korekty treści nauczania, a dąży do zmiany modelu dydaktyki oraz gdy koncepcje wpisane w dokument programowy nie są wyraziście sprofilowane. The water-cooled lithium-lead (PbLi) breeding blanket is one of the candidate systems considered for the implementation in the European Demonstration Power Plant (DEMO) nuclear fusion reactor. This concept employs PbLi liquid metal as tritium breeder and neutron multiplier, water pressurized at 15.5 MPa as the coolant, and EUROFER as the structural material. The current design is based on the single module segment approach and follows the requirements of the DEMO-2015 baseline design. Background: Na+/H+ exchanger-1 (NHE-1) is involved in pH regulation and is up-regulated in different malignancies. Activation of NHE-1 is one way for allowing cells to avoid intracellular acidification and protect them against apoptosis. Inhibitors of NHE-1 are able to decrease intracellular pH and induce apoptosis. Some statins can also act by partial inhibition of NHE-1. This review presents progress in understanding the mechanisms of action of these inhibitors, connections with certain genetic mutations and acquired treatment resistance, as well as new patents on them.
