Current evidence points to an increase over time in both actual and perceived weight status among adolescents, however there is limited evidence on time trends in BWP in cross-national samples of adolescents. The paper presents the results of three-year studies conducted at 75 locations in Poland testing the use of the London planes for overwintering of true-bugs. Insects were sampled from the bark of trunks. Altogether 25 species of Heteroptera was recorded, including three invasive species that can considerable affect plane trees: Arocatus longiceps, Corythucha ciliata and Oxycarenus lavaterae.

Tutkielmassa tarkastelen isyyden muuttumista Suomessa sekä selvitän millaista isätoimintaa kolmas sektori tarjoaa. Isätutkimus on suhteellisen uusi tieteenala, joten tutkimuksia aiheesta on vähän. Samoin isätoiminta järjestöissä on vasta aluillaan, joten tutkimustietoa niistä ei ole. Siksi päätin tarttua ajankohtaiseen ja tärkeään aiheeseen. Tutkimus on kvalitatiivinen tutkimus, joka on toteutettu teemahaastattelua tutkimusmenetelmänä käyttäen. Tutkimuksen aineisto koostuu kahdeksan isätyöntekijän haastatteluista neljästä eri järjestöstä. Haastattelut tehtiin kesä-syyskuussa 2009. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää, millaisia koulukuntoisuutta tukevia elementtejä sairaalakoulujen opettajat käyttävät työssään, ja miten niitä voisi näiden opettajien kokemuksen mukaan hyödyntää yleisopetuksen ympäristöissä. Tutkimuksella oli nuorten mielenterveyden tukemiseen ja opettajuuden kehittämiseen tähtäävä tavoite. Tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena. Aineisto kerättiin sairaalakouluissa työskennelleiltä opettajilta teemahaastatteluilla ja analysoitiin laadullisen sisällönanalyysin keinoin.
