La depuración de profesores universitarios en época franquista no acaba con la legislación, las delaciones, informes y testimonios. Está también la otra cara, la de los exiliados republicanos y sus propuestas de reconstrucción de la universidad, en su deseo de sentar las base para el futuro orden internacional. Este trabajo se centra en el caso concreto del penalista exiliado Mariano Ruiz-Funes, en el panorama de la universidad nacional-católica. La depuración, el exilio y la provisión de su cátedra vacante. Así como las propuestas desde el exilio en la Reunión de La Habana para la reconstrucción del país y en concreto de la Universidad.

Abstract. Dehydration in the Antarctic winter stratosphere is a well-known phenomenon that is annually observed by satellites and occasionally observed by balloon-borne measurements. However, in situ measurements of dehydrated air masses in the Antarctic vortex are very rare. Here, we present detailed observations with the in situ and GLORIA remote sensing instrument payload aboard the German aircraft HALO. Strongly dehydrated air masses down to 1.6 ppmv of water vapor were observed as far north as 47° S in an altitude between 12 and 13 km in the lowermost stratosphere. To investigate the potency of the topoisomerase II (topo II) poisons doxorubicin and etoposide to stimulate the DNA damage response (DDR), S139 phosphorylation of histone H2AX (γH2AX) was analyzed using rat cardiomyoblast cells (H9c2). Etoposide caused a dose-dependent increase in the γH2AX level as shown by Western blotting. By contrast, the doxorubicin response was bell-shaped with high doses failing to increase H2AX phosphorylation. Identical results were obtained by immunohistochemical analysis of γH2AX focus formation, comet assay-based DNA strand break analysis, and measuring the formation of the topo II-DNA cleavable complex.
