Presurgical role of MRI tractography in a case of extensive cervicothoracic spinal ependymoma

Background: Intramedullary spinal ependymoma is a tumor, hardly characterizable with conventional magnetic resonance (MR) imaging only. MR diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) with three dimensional fiber tracking reconstructions allows the evaluation of the relationship between neoplasm and white matter fiber tracts, being a powerful tool in presurgical planning. La percepción de la funcionalidad familiar: Confirmación de su estructura bifactorial

Es necesario crear instrumentos válidos, fiables y de fácil aplicación para evaluar la funcionalidad familiar. En el presente estudio se confirma la estructura bifactorial de una Escala de Funcionalidad familiar de 23 ítems aportando índices de fiabilidad y validez externa en una muestra de 185 familias con hijos adolescentes. Se analiza la discrepancia parental, y se presentan los estadísticos descriptivos de esta variable en las dimensiones que constituyen la escala: Facilitador y Perturbador. El instrumento es útil para valorar la funcionalidad y para calcular la discrepancia parental en la percepción de la vida familiar, que es también un indicador de funcionalidad.

International audience; In this work are described the principles of functional-pragmatic and the reasons for developing an exploration protocol for natural metalinguistic abilities. This study explains the base hypothesis and structure of METALANG protocol. This protocol consists in a Test and a Questionnaire for parents with two different scales: A = Ability, B = Frequency. Each element of the protocol has 6 sections and 40 items. It is performed a preliminary contrast with 12 subjects aged 6 to 9 years. Among the 12 subjects, 4 were diagnosed with dysphasia. Background: Spinal extradural arachnoid cysts (SEDACs) are rare and are variously attributed to congenital, traumatic, or inflammatory etiologies. Here, we report a 70-year-old male who presented with a T11-T12 SEDAC and an incidental craniovertebral junction (CVJ) meningioma. Case Description: A 70-year-old male presented with progressive bilateral lower limb weakness and paresthesias. The thoracic MRI identified an extradural arachnoid cystic lesion at the T11-T12 level. Maģistra darbā ir izskatītas FINREP (Financial Reporting) finanšu datu atskaišu standarta pielāgošanas iespējas darījumu inteliģences sistēmām. FINREP standartu izstrādāja Eiropas Banku iestāde, to izmantošana ir reglamentēta Eiropas Savienības kredītiestādēm, kas atbilst noteiktām prasībām. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt FINREP finanšu atskaišu veidošanas iespējas Oracle Hyperion Financial Management maksas rīkā, kā arī izpētīt pieejamos atvērtā koda darījumu inteliģences risinājumus. Izvēloties vienu no atvērtā koda sistēmām, izpētīt to pielāgošanas iespējas FINREP atskaitēm, secinot vai ir iespējams panākt līdzīgo funkcionalitāti kā Oracle Hyperion rīkā.

Automated Patch Assessment for Program Repair at Scale

AbstractIn this paper, we do automatic correctness assessment for patches generated by program repair systems. We consider the human-written patch as ground truth oracle and randomly generate tests based on it, a technique proposed by Shamshiri et al., called Random testing with Ground Truth (RGT) in this paper. We build a curated dataset of 638 patches for Defects4J generated by 14 state-of-the-art repair systems, we evaluate automated patch assessment on this dataset.
