International audience; l'objectif de cet article est de proposer une approche compréhensive de la communication des organisations publiques à travers le cas des Caisses d'Allocations Familiales (CAF). Les travaux dont il est issu ont eu pour objet d'interroger les représentations des cadres, chargés de communication et directeurs des CAF autour de la notion d'institution communicante. Il s'agit notamment de préciser si celle-ci relève d'un artefact ou pourrait -et à quelles conditions- constituer un modèle valide pour analyser la communication des organisations publiques

Organisational Challenges for School Development and Improvement : The Obstructing Role of Sub-Groups and an Overly Positive School Culture

The purpose of this study has been to identify and analyse obstacles embedded in the school organisation that impede organisational development and improvement. The general findings show that the school structure comprised sub-groups and had characteristics of a diversified organisation. This led to dysfunctional discussions that challenged school development and improvement. Second, the findings revealed that the nature of the school culture may challenge school development processes. Publishing, albeit in many cases irregular, became one of the main activities of provincial scientific societies from the 1860s. In this way, the natural history societies and field clubs contributed to the inflation of scientific publications were thought to disrupt the progress of science. As a remedy, the creation of regional and regular periodicals instead of the publishing by individual societies was suggested. The appearance of the regional federations of natural history societies in the 1870s shows that the need to publish became even greater. Pētījuma mērķis: izpētīt kādas ir augstas klases sportistu mācību organizēšanas iespējas vidējās profesionālajās izglītības iestādēs. Pētījuma uzdevumi saistījās ar vidējo profesionālo izglītības iestāžu darba organizēšanas izpēti, lai noskaidrotu vai tās ir piemērotas augstas klases sportistiem. Pētījuma rezultāti parādīja, ka vidējās profesionālās izglītības iestādēs ir labvēlīgāka vide augstas klases sportistiem, kas vēlas apvienot mācības ar sportošanu. En esta investigación se analiza el funcionamiento y la organización de los sistemas de apoyo utilizados en centros de Educación Infantil y Primaria de la Comunidad Valenciana. Planteamos hasta qué punto los sistemas de apoyo en estos centros contribuyen a mejorar la organización de un sistema inclusivo que resulte accesible para todos. En el estudio de casos han participado 24 profesionales pertenecientes a cuatro centros que tienen diferentes modalidades de escolarización. Between the two World Wars, gymnastics become a sport just as any other sport. An analysis of the history of the Federation of Alsatian Gymnastics Associations allows us to understand this mutation which is even more remarkable since the opposition between gymnastics and sports was initially very stiff. Decomposing issue patterns in crisis communication: the case of the lost airliner

This research explores the relation between a crisis and public discussion on related issues. In organisational crisis communication, a singleissue strategy is often proposed. Such a strategy, however, may not be adequate in more complex crises where the crisis lifecycle is likely to encompass shorter lifecycles of issues that generate media attention. Decomposing the online crisis debate into a pattern of issues supports understanding of public perceptions, and hence of crisis response and communication.
