Social stress can affect the ability of fish to respond to various stressors, such as pathogens or environmental variations. In this paper, the effects of social stress on gilt-head bream (Sparus aurata) were investigated. To study the effects of physiological stress, we evaluated biochemical and cellular parameters, such as cortisol, glucose, lactate, osmolarity, and phagocytosis, 24 h after the establishment of social hierarchy in a group of three fish. Maģistra darba mērķis ir novērtēt saldūdens dīķu sniegtos ekosistēmu pakalpojumus Latvijā. Dīķu sniegto pakalpojumu izpēte ir svarīga dīķu ekosistēmu vispārējā stāvokļa novērtēšanā, lēmumu pieņemšanā un tālākās attīstības plānošanā. Darbā tiek vērtēti gan apgādes, gan regulējošie, gan kultūras – nemateriālie pakalpojumi. Darbā kritiski analizēti arī pieejamie dati ekosistēmu pakalpojumu aprēķināšanai, izmantojot ekonomiskās, biofizikālās, kā arī sociālās vērtēšanas metodes. Currently, the most frequently employed therapies in the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), i.e., Crohn's Disease (CD), Ulcerative Colitis (UC) or unclassified IBD (IBD-U) are monoclonal anti-TNFs and anti-integrin therapies, such as vedolizumab (VDZ).
