Abstract Crowdlending platforms are becoming increasingly important as a collective financing mechanism for entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), especially those at an early stage. This study, which is based on a survey of investors on a Spanish crowdlending platform, uses fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) to examine investor satisfaction with crowdlending platforms. Agent-based modelling of values: the case of value sensitive design for refugee logistics

We have used value sensitive design as a method to develop an agent-based model of values in humanitarian logistics for refugees. Schwartz's theory of universal values is implemented in the model in such a way that agents can make value trade-offs, which are operationalized into a measure of refugee wellbeing and a measure of public opinion about how the refugee logistics is being handled. By trying out different ‘value-scenarios’, stakeholders who are responsible for, or involved in refugee logistics can have insights into the effects of various value choices. Abstract Eating habits of lactating women can influence the nutrient composition of human milk, which in turn influences nutrient intake of breastfed infants. The aim of the present study was to identify food patterns and nutritional adequacy among lactating women in Europe. Data from a multicentre European longitudinal cohort (ATLAS study) were analysed to identify dietary patterns using cluster analysis. Dietary information from 180 lactating women was obtained using 3-d food diaries over the first 4 months of lactation. Center pivot irrigation systems are widely used in agriculture. Their water pumping systems are primary energy consumers. The use of photovoltaic power plants and variable speed drives of electric motors can reduce energy costs. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of integrating variable speed drives and photovoltaic modules into water pumping systems. A novel architecture of a pumping system was suggested. Its features are no battery backup and the sale of electricity into the grid.

Positive parenting and parenting stress among working mothers in Finland, the UK and the Netherlands : Do working time patterns matter?

This study explored the effects of working time patterns on positive parenting and parenting stress, and the moderating effects of working hours, the unpredictability of work schedules, and autonomy over working time in a European context. This cross-national survey study compared Finnish (n = 337), Dutch (n = 283) and British (n = 317) mothers with children under the age of 13, using structural equation modeling with a multigroup procedure. We found a connection between working time patterns and positive parenting but the nature of the connection differed between countries.
