OBJECTIVE: To examine the effects of 2 manual therapy methods compared with one counselling session with a physiotherapist with "advice-only to stay active" for treating low back pain/leg pain and disability. DESIGN: A randomized, controlled trial with a 1-year follow-up. SUBJECTS: A total of 134 subjects with low back disorders. Introduction The terminal ileum is the most involved tract in Crohn's disease. The obstruction in this location is the most frequent complication. Acute or chronic presentations can occur. BACKGROUND: Lingual flaps provide ideal mucosal coverage for intraoral defects but traditionally require two surgical stages. The authors present an axial mucosal propeller flap for single-stage intraoral reconstruction. The flap includes the mucosa of the lateral side of the tongue, islanded on the deep lingual vessels. Abstract Infected osteoradionecrosis (IORN) is one of the major complications of oral cancer radiotherapy. Recent studies showed a high prevalence of Actinomyces in IORN. In this study, the clinical follow up of IORN patients ( n = 25; 20 male, 5 female) with regard to Actinomyces detection in the mandible was analyzed. Within 1.6–119 months of follow up, disease control was achieved in almost 90% of the patients with Actinomyces -negative bone biopsies, but only in 25% of the Actinomyces -positive group. The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationships between changes in flexible vs. rigid restraints of eating during weight management, as well as how changes in the cognitive restraint of eating were related to psychological well-being and flexibility. The data includes information on 49 overweight persons who participated in a weight loss and maintenance (WLM) intervention and a follow-up assessment after 8-9 months. An increase in flexible cognitive restraint during the weight loss intervention was related to better weight loss maintenance and well-being.
