Daily streamlow prediction with uncertainty in ephemeral catchments using the GLUE methodology

Abstract The Generalised Likelihood Uncertainty Estimation (GLUE) approach is presented here as a tool for estimating the predictive uncertainty of a rainfall–runoff model. The GLUE methodology allows to recognise the possible equifinality of different parameter sets and assesses the likelihood of a parameters set being acceptable simulator when model predictions are compared to observed field data. The results of the GLUE methodology depend greatly on the choice of the likelihood measure and on the choice of the threshold which determines if a parameters set is behavioural or not. Optimizing Renewable Power Management in Transmission Congestion. An Energy Hub Model Using Hydrogen Storage

Energy production from distributed renewable power plants underwent a takeoff in last years as never before. Nevertheless, the installation of technologies based on variable energy resources and their connection on transmission power lines might cause congestions due to the transmission capacity limits. This paper describes the modelization of a HV transmission line with local renewable production and its optimal management through an Energy Hub model. Aim of the study is to identify the optimal size of the power storage, based on an electoryzer, a hydrogen storage and a fuel cell, in order to minimize the congestion risks and to maximize the exploitation of renewable energy production.

The channel utilization efficiency of the standard 802.11 networks is severely compromised when high data transmission rates are employed, since physical layer headers and control frames are transmitted at low rate, thus wasting more channel time, proportionally. Therefore, the information on the characteristics of the game, or the tactics related to how the points are won in doubles play is scarce. Generation of Pair Coherent States in Two-dimensional Trapped Ion

We consider a two-dimensional (2D) trapped ion model in which two laser beams drive the corresponding vibrational motions and are carrier resonant with the two-level of the ion. Due to the coherent superposition of two sub-Rabi oscillations involved in the bimodal vibrations, the Rabi frequency degeneration and offset may occur in this model. This provides the possibility of generating the pair coherent state in the 2D trapped ion.
