A fuzzy-based tool for modelization and analysis of the vulnerability of aquifers: a case study

Abstract A fuzzy-based tool, called FUZZY-SRA (Fuzzy Spatial Reliability Analysis), is used for realizing a more “reliable” study of the values of the final parameters concerning the vulnerability of aquifers located in the territory of Cava de' Tirreni, city in the district of Salerno (Italy). The SINTACS method is adopted for evaluating the involved parameters and these evaluations are modelled from attributes represented from triangular fuzzy numbers which supply the overall final information if combined with suitable algebraic operations. The tool FUZZY-SRA is implemented inside a GIS (Geographical Information Systems) software.

Forward logistic regression for earth-flow landslide susceptibility assessment in the Platani river basin (southern Sicily, Italy)

Forward logistic regression has allowed us to derive an earth-flow susceptibility model for the Tumarrano river basin, which was defined by modeling the statistical relationships between an archive of 760 events and a set of 20 predictors. For each landslide in the inventory, a landslide identification point (LIP) was automatically produced as corresponding to the highest point along the boundary of the landslide polygons, and unstable conditions were assigned to cells at a distance up to 8 m. W artykule podjęto rozważania na temat zależności między współpracą partnerską a poziomem dojrzałości łańcucha dostaw w warunkach globalizacji. Poziom dojrzałości łańcucha dostaw wzięto pod uwagę jako czynnik determinujący nawiązanie partnerskiej współpracy pomiędzy ogniwami łańcucha dostaw. Dažādu operatīvo dienestu darbinieku personības iezīmes IPIP-50 BFM skatījumā

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai operatīvo dienestu darbiniekiem un citu profesiju pārstāvjiem pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas personības iezīmju atšķirības Latvijas kultūrvidē. Tika izvirzīti pētījuma jautājumi par operatīvā dienesta personības iezīmēm attiecībā vienam pret otru un citu profesiju pārstāvjiem IPIP – 50 Lielā Piecinieka marķieru (IPIP-50 BFM) un Īsās asu izjūtu meklēšanas skalas (BSSS) skatījumā. Pētījumā piedalījās 876 respondenti (676 operatīvo dienestu darbinieki un 200 citu profesiju pārstāvji) vecumā no 19 līdz 78 gadiem (M=37,88, SD=10,75).
