In 2019, Latvia drafted a National Development Plan [NDP 2027] for the next period, which also comprises actions for the development of the tourism sector. Unlike previous practices, approaches to drafting a common plan and developing and implementing tourism policy have changed significantly. Abstract Two dibenzoylmethane (DBM) derivatives with methyl (Me-DBM) or carbazole (CBZ-DBM) substituents at the para-position of the phenyl ring and their four novel ternary and tetrakis Eu3+ complexes with 1,10-phenanthroline (PHEN) as a secondary ligand or tetraethylamonium ion (N+(Et)4) as the counter-cation were synthesized and characterized. The investigation of the optical properties of the complexes revealed that Me-DBM based compounds exhibit aggregation enhanced emission (AEE), while in the case of CBZ-DBM this effect is not observed. OPTIMAL AIRLINE SEAT INVENTORY CONTROL FOR MULTI-LEG FLIGHTS

Abstract For large commercial airlines, efficiently setting and updating seat allocation targets for each passenger category on each multi-leg flight is an extremely difficult problem. This paper presents static and dynamic models of airline seat inventory control for multi-leg flights with multiple fare classes, which allow one to maximize an expected contribution to profit. The dynamic model uses the most recent demand and capacity information and allows one to allocate seats dynamically and anticipatory over time.

Optimal airline seat inventory control for multi‐leg flights

Airline seat inventory control is about “selling the right seats to the right people at the right time”. In this paper, the problem of determining optimal booking policy for multiple fare classes in a pool of identical seats for multi‐leg flights is considered. During the time prior to departure of a multi‐leg flight, decisions must be made concerning the allocation of reserved seats to passengers requesting space on the full or partial spans of the flight. Exploring the properties of MTO4compounds using high-pressure powder x-ray diffraction

Several ternary oxides with industrial applications, but also interesting for basic research, have been studied recently at room temperature under high-pressure conditions using synchrotron powder x-ray diffraction. In this article, part of these experiments will be summarized. The studied materials include zircon-type vanadates and scheelite-type tungstates as well as other oxides related to them. Dense Post-Barite-type Polymorph of PbSO4 Anglesite at High Pressures

2019

Synchrotron X-ray diffraction measurements on lead sulfate have been performed up to 67 GPa using He as pressure transmitting medium. Experiments reveal the existence of a reversible pressure-induced phase transition from the initial Pnma barite-type to the P212121 post-barite-type structure at pressures above 27 GPa. This phase transition involves a volume collapse of 2.4% and requires a considerable pressure overshoot (large pressure range with coexistence of phases) to overcome the large kinetic barrier of the transition. Investigation of AC Electrical Properties of MXene-PCL Nanocomposites for Application in Small and Medium Power Generation

The paper examined Ti3C2Tx MXene (T—OH, Cl or F), which is prepared by etching a layered ternary carbide Ti3AlC2 (312 MAX-phase) precursor and deposited on a polycaprolactone (PCL) electrospun membrane (MXene-PCL nanocomposite). X-ray Diffraction analysis (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) indicates that the obtained material is pure Ti3C2 MXene. SEM of the PCL-MXene composite demonstrate random Ti3C2 distribution over the nanoporous membrane. Results of capacitance, inductance, and phase shift angle studies of the MXene-PCL nanocomposite are presented.
