Artykuł jest kontynuacją rozważań zamieszczonych w tomie poprzednim, w którym przekazane zostały dane dotyczące kształtowania się opolskiego ośrodka naukowego. Proces ten rozpoczął się w 1954 r., kiedy to przeniesiona została do Opola założona we Wrocławiu Wyższa Szkoła Pedagogiczna. Drugim elementem tworzonego ośrodka był reaktywowany w Opolu w 1957 r. założony w 1934 r. Instytut Śląski oraz utworzone w 1955 r. Polskie Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Nauk. In recent times thorough changes concerning the treatment of the wedding vows take place. One of the ways to create a positive approach to marriage seems to be a solemn observation of marriage jubilees .The paper deals with the historical process of the development of the forms of observance concerning wedding anniversaries. However the main emphasis is put on the rites of wedding anniversary in post conciliar liturgical books. The reader may also become aware of the idea and history of pilgrimages organized on the occasion of the silver and golden marriage jubilees, considering also a strong and clear testimony to the importance of the wedding vows.

Started on 17th August 1977 the Opole Walking Pilgrimage to Jasna Góra was a result of many centuries oftradition of dévotion to Our Lady ofCzęstochowa in the Opole region. After érection ofthe apostolic administration ofthe Opole Silesia in 1945 and Opole diocese 27 years later preparing the whole-diocese pilgrimage was impossible because oftwo factors: political context ofthe PPL and reluctance of bishop Franciszek Jop to provoke the government unfavourable towards the Church. W regionalizacji fizyczno-geograficznej Polski obszar Garbu Opolskiego zaliczony został do makrore-gionu Nizina Śląska i mezoregionu Pradolina Wrocławska. Kwalifikacja ta nie jest zgodna z kryteria-mi wyróżniania mezoregionów i makroregionów. Garb Opolski pod względem budowy geologicznej może być identyfikowany jako część nieodległej Wyżyny Śląskiej, choć położony jest na znacząco mniejszej wysokości niż granica hipsometryczna między nizinami a wyżynami. Construction of the A-4 Motorway section in the Opole Region begun in Summer 1997. Very soon vigorous resistance of ecological NGOs was encountered. The bone of contention was the section of motorway that passes through the Góra Świętej Anny Landscape Park and verges the natural reserve of strict protection Ligota Dolna where rare species of thermophilic plants are sheltered. Between 2011 and 2013 a detailed mycological, geobotanical, floristic and fauna research took place within the right-of-way of the A-4 Motorway section crossing the Góra Świętej Anny Landscape Park in the Opole Region.
