The potential impacts of herbicide utilization compel producers to use new methods of weed control. The problem of how to reduce the amount of herbicide and yet maintain crop production has stimulated many researchers to study selective herbicide application. The key of selective herbicide application is how to discriminate the weed areas efficiently. We introduce a procedure for weed detection in orange groves which consists of two different stages. In the first stage, the main features in an image of the grove are determined (Trees, Trunks, Soil and Sky). Pohjoismaiseen lasten- ja nuortenkirjallisuuteen on rakentunut lähes normatiivinen kuva vallitsevaa sukupuolijärjestystä murtavasta vahvasta tyttöydestä, joka on näkyvissä myös suomalaisessa 2010-luvun nykytyttökirjallisuudessa. Vuosituhannen vaihteen jälkeen kirjallisuuden tyttökuvat ovat kuitenkin moninaistuneet, eikä tyttöhahmojen tarvitse olla enää kaikkivoipaisia. Tyttöyden esitysten moninaistumisen myötä aiemmin liki säännönmukaisesti heteronormatiivisten tyttökirjojen päähen-kilöiksi on noussut myös heteronormeja vastustavia tyttöhahmoja. Tarkastelen maisterintutkielmassani lähiluvun keinoin kahdessa kotimaisessa nuorten fantasiatyttöromaanissa, Siiri Enorannan teoksessa Surunhauras, lasinterävä (2015) sekä Maria Turtschaninoffin teoksessa Anaché: Myter från akkade (2012), esiintyviä heteronormista poikkeavan tyttöyden representaatioita. Erityisesti huomioni kiinnittyy pohjoismaiseen lasten- ja nuortenkirjallisuuteen rakentuneeseen vahvan tyttöyden perinteeseen (mm. Österlund 2011, 217, 236), joka on selkeästi näkyvissä myös kohdeteoksissani – analyysini perustana on tarkastella, millä tavalla vahvan tyttöyden perinne kiinnittyy ja näyttäytyy kohdeteosteni kuvaamien heteronormista poikkeavien tyttöhahmojen esityksissä.
