Abstract Background In the year 2020, depression will cause the second highest amount of disability worldwide. One quarter of the population will suffer from depression symptoms at some point in their lives. Mental health services in Western countries are overburdened. Therefore, cost-effective interventions that do not involve mental health services, such as online psychotherapy programs, have been proposed. AbstractThis study presents data on the development and preliminary validation of an observational scale assessing neighborhood disorder. Independent observations by trained raters of neighborhood disorder were conducted in 552 census block groups in the city of Valencia (Spain). Intraclass correlation coefficients assessing inter-rater reliability indicated fair to substantial levels of agreement among raters. Confirmatory factor analyses supported a final three-factor model scale measuring physical disorder, social disorder, and physical decay. Results for the internal consistency showed large composite reliability indices indicating good reliability for all neighborhood disorder factors.…

En una geografía como la nuestra, donde los musulmanes todavía conservan un importante peso demográfico durante el siglo XV, el desarrollo de ciertas actividades productivas en sus manos resulta algo necesario. Las labores del campo posiblemente fueran las tareas más inmediatas de buena parte de la población, tanto cristiana como musulmana, pero el desarrollo de esas otras actividades paralelas, en el caso ahora presentado la alfarería, dotaron al grupo musulmán de una cierta especificidad dentro del devenir económico del Alto Palancia.

In Brazil, the practice of torture intertwines deeply with its own history. The literature on the subject has had a greater intensification on its registers during the Dictatorial Regime (1964 to 1985).
