Legal provisions in the Republic of Argentina order that medical autopsy be performed in all violent or suspected criminality, unless the cause of death is evident in the external examination. Numerous international bibliography indicates the high degree of diagnostic error of the described procedure. We present a case of diagnosis of wrong cause of death, then clarified in medical autopsy, review of bibliography and considerations about the findings and legal consequences.

The selected non-governmental organisation’s mission is to eradicate poverty by empowering grassroots-level women using holistic approaches and participatory development. This research is a qualitative case study by interviewing 41 participants over the telephone after making exploratory field visits in Hambantota and Monaragala districts in Sri Lanka.

Master's thesis Business Administration BE501 - University of Agder 2017 This thesis examines the performance and persistence of Norwegian mutual funds using a comprehensive dataset (surviving and non-surviving funds) over the period 1983-2015. We examine the performance of Norwegian mutual funds on aggregate level and individually, using the Carhart (1997) four-factor model as our performance model. We find that Norwegian mutual funds, on aggregate, do not produce significant abnormal risk-adjusted returns. This thesis consists of three chapters that each address a different factor that influences the performance of SGs. Chapter 1 investigates the effect of financial linkages on the performance of savings groups. Financial linkages occur when informal savings groups either open a joint savings account at a formal financial institution or participate in a joint credit facility arrangement with a formal financial institution. The central reason for financial linkages between savings groups and formal financial institutions is to balance group liquidity shortages and excesses.
