Introduction The aim of this study was to determine the positional stability and success rate of palatally placed length-reduced temporary anchorage devices (LRTADs) (length, 4 or 6 mm). Methods Twenty-two patients (ages, 21-62 years; 14 women, 8 men) were enrolled in the study. Abstract Background A defect of condylar morphology can be caused by several sources. Case report A case of altered condylar morphology in adult male with temporomandibular disorders was reported in 30-year-old male patient. Erosion and flattening of the left mandibular condyle were observed by panoramic x-ray. The patient was treated with splint therapy that determined mandibular advancement. In this context, several retrospectively planned studies were performed in the 1980s, but correlations between different aspects of patient discomfort were not investigated.
