Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on tarkastella suomalaista koulutusvientiä toteuttavia koulutusvientiasiantuntijoita, heidän työtään ja kykyään toimia vieraassa kulttuurikontekstissa. Koulutusta ei voida sellaisenaan tuotteistaa ja viedä maasta toiseen, minkä seurauksena koulutusvientiä toteutetaan monin eri tavoin. Tässä tutkimuksessa koulutusvientiä tarkastellaan osaamisen vientinä, jolla tarkoitetaan koulutuksen asiantuntijuuden vientiä eli suomalaisten koulutusasiantuntijoiden lähettämistä ulkomaille. Viime vuosien aikana kunnat ovat palkanneet terveyden edistämisen asiantuntijoita suunnittelu- ja kehittämistehtäviin. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on kuvata millainen terveyden edistämisen asiantuntijoiden toimissa olevien tehtävä on kunnissa tällä hetkellä, millaista osaamista heidän mielestään terveyden edistämisen asiantuntija tarvitsee kuntasektorilla sekä millainen kokemus heillä on asiantuntijuutensa kehittymisestä. This paper seeks to better understand the skills and competencies that Public Relations (PR) professionals use in contributing to organisational decision-making processes. The data were collected by interviewing Finnish professionals using thematic semi-structured interviews. Overall, the results highlight a deep understanding of organisation management and decision-making processes. The most important competencies were business understanding and target group oriented thinking. Sustainability education at higher education institutions : pedagogies and students’ competences

Purpose This study aims to examine whether the development of students’ sustainability competences is dependent on how courses are delivered at higher education institutions (HEIs). It further investigates to what extent such competences can affect students’ belief in the new environmental paradigm (NEP) and pro-environmental behaviors (PEBs). Design/methodology/approach The data was collected through an online survey conducted in 2021 among the students of an international research university based in The Netherlands.
