El objetivo de la tesis fue conocer la prevalencia de la enfe5rmedad de Chagas en población de riesgo de ambos sexos procedentes de Latinoamérica y la incidencia de la transmisión vertical (Chagas congénito en los bebés nacidos de mujeres diagnosticadas durante el periodo de estudio. Se diseñó un estudio epidemiológico transversal, descriptivo, con dos cohortes poblacionales (donantes de sangre y mujeres embarazadas) y dos fases temporales, una prospectiva (2006-2010) y otra retrospectiva (2011-2015. Multimodal mediational means in assessment of processes : an argument for a hard-CLIL approach

In Japan, CLIL instruction falls under a soft-CLIL approach, content serving as secondary to language instruction. Furthermore, assessment in classrooms in Japan is oftentimes limited to assessing the product summatively. In the paper, we argue for the value of focusing on content in CLIL activities and assessing the process with the goal to promote learning. Dipeptidyl Enoates As Potent Rhodesain Inhibitors That Display a Dual Mode of Action

Dipeptidyl enoates were prepared through a high-yielding two-step synthetic route. They have a dipeptidic structure with a 4-oxoenoate moiety as a warhead with multiple reactive sites. Dipeptidyl enoates were screened against rhodesain and human cathepsins B and L, and were found to be potent and selective inhibitors of rhodesain. Among them (S,E)-ethyl 5-((S)-2-{[(benzyloxy)carbonyl]amino}-3-phenylpropanamido)-7-methyl-4-oxooct-2-enoate (6) was the most potent, with an IC50 value of 16.4 nm and kinact/Ki=1.6×106 m−1 s−1 against rhodesain. Tämä laadullinen tutkimus selvitti lastentarhanopettajien käyttämiä tukikeinoja päivähoidon aloituksen yhteydessä. Tarkoituksena oli selvittää, mitä tukikeinoja käytetään silloin, kun lapsi aloittaa päivähoidossa. Tällä tarkoitetaan päivähoidossa aloittamista ensimmäistä kertaa tai vaihtamista toiseen päiväkotiin. Lisäksi haluttiin selvittää sosiaalisia tukikeinoja päivähoidon aloituksessa. Tutkimuksen aineiston kerääminen toteutettiin parihaastatteluilla, joissa haastateltiin lastentarhanopettajia.
