Mūsdienās reklāmas tiek lietotas, lai ietekmētu patērētāju lēmumu pieņemšanu, un tajās tiek lietotas dažādas reklāmas metodes. Līdztekus citām metodēm, reklāmās tiek lietoti arī mnemoniskie paņēmieni, kas palīdz labāk atcerēties reklāmas tekstus. Šī darba mērķis ir izpētīt mnemoniskos paņēmienus un analizēt mnemonisko paņēmienu biežumu Lielbritānijas laikrakstos, izmantojot kvalitatīvās un kvantitatīvās pētījumu metodes - diskursa un biežuma analīzi. Kopumā tika analizēti četrpadsmit laikraksti, lai tajos atrastu mnemonisks ierīces. We have shown recently that long-lived states (LLS) can be more sensitive to ligand binding. LLS can be excited if the ligand comprises at least two coupled spins. Abstract Sinapigladioside is a rare isothiocyanate‐bearing natural product from beetle‐associated bacteria (Burkholderia gladioli) that might protect beetle offspring against entomopathogenic fungi. The biosynthetic origin of sinapigladioside has been elusive, and little is known about bacterial isothiocyanate biosynthesis in general. On the basis of stable‐isotope labeling, bioinformatics, and mutagenesis, we identified the sinapigladioside biosynthesis gene cluster in the symbiont and found that an isonitrile synthase plays a key role in the biosynthetic pathway. The good performance of N‐heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs), in terms of versatility and selectivity, has called the attention of experimentalists and theoreticians attempting to understand their electronic properties. Analyses of the Au(I)–C bond in [(NHC)AuL]+/0 (L stands for a neutral or negatively charged ligand), through the Dewar–Chatt–Duncanson model and the charge displacement function, have revealed that NHC is not purely a σ‐donor but may have a significant π‐acceptor character. Statins are one of the most commonly prescribed drugs in clinical practice. They are usually well tolerated and effectively prevent cardiovascular events. Most adverse effects associated with statin therapy are muscle-related. The recent statement of the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) has focused on statin-associated muscle symptoms (SAMS), and avoided the use of the term 'statin intolerance'. Historical paper and parchment are widely investigated in order to comprehend mechanisms of degradation and to plan proper conservation interventions. Hand-made paper obtained by green procedure of cladode waste of Opuntia ficus indica (L.) Mill. from Sicily

Cellulosic fibres have been obtained by green procedures from the cladodes of Opuntia ficus indica (L.) Mill., constituting a large agro industrial waste in our territory. The materials have been analysed for its relative composition, applying, IR and TG methodologies and it was characterised by the absence of lignin. The fibrous material allowed the manufacture of a handmade paper obtaining an ecological material suitable for packaging purposes. The authors evidenced that the simple protocol based on hot water treatment was able to decrease the amount of hemicellulose in the final material.
