Ubiquitous Co-Driver System and Its Effects on the Situation Awareness of the Driver

The aim of this paper is to explore the effects of ubiquitous computing in cars on the situation awareness and expectations of the driver. In a driving simulation environment with participants using a co-driver system, we investigated how people took and recovered from misinformation provided by the system. The system presented safety-critical information about the upcoming curves on the road, but in the experiment part of the messages contained false information. Darbā pētīta bezkontaktu fotopletizmogrāfijas (bPPG) metode ādas asinsrites attālinātai mērīšanai. Parādīta iespēja iegūt bPPG signāla izmaiņas no dažādām plaukstas vietām ārējo stimulu (aukstuma/siltuma) ietekmē. Izstrādāts bPPG analīzes algoritms un datorprogramma, ar kuras palīdzību no 2 interešu zonām var noteikt asins apjoma pulsāciju signālus, no kuriem tiek aprēķināti asinsrites hemodinamiskie parametri: pulsa viļņa ātrums,pulsa frekvence, pulsa amplitūda un fāžu nobīde starp signāliem 2 ādas zonās. Pētīta korelācija starp hemodinamiskajiem parametriem, kas mainās ādas sildīšanas ietekmē.
Äärellisten Borel-mittojen Fourier-muunnoksista euklidisissa avaruuksissa

Tutkielmassa esitellään euklidisen avaruuden äärellisille Borel-mitoille Fourier-muunnokset kompleksiarvoisina kuvauksina ja tutkitaan niiden vähenemistä mentäessä ääarettömän kauas origosta. Keskeisenä kysymyksenä on, millä reunaehdoilla annetun kompkatikantajaisen ja äärellisen Borel-mitan Fourier muunnos vähenee polynomiaalisesti (eli sitä voidaan dominoida jollain euklidisen normin negatiivisella potenssilla) kaikkialla riittävän kaukana tai ainakin ”keskimääräisesti”. Mikäli tällainen Borel-mitta on absoluuttisesti jatkuva Lebesguen mitan suhteen kompaktikantajaisella ja sileällä tiheysfunktiolla, niin sen Fourier-muunnos vähenee aina polynomiaalisesti kaikkialla.
