The aim of this study was to retrospectively investigate the prevalence of comorbidities in a cohort of patients with OSAS and COPD-OSAS overlap syndrome (OS) patients and to explore differences between these two groups. Canonical polyadic decomposition (CPD) of multi-subject complex-valued fMRI data can be used to provide spatially and temporally shared components among groups with both magnitude and phase information. However, the CPD model is not well formulated due to the large subject variability in the spatial and temporal modalities, as well as the high noise level in complex-valued fMRI data. Introduction: The TONADO studies (NCT01431274; NCT01431287) established the efficacy and safety of a new once-daily fixed-dose combination (FDC) with tiotropium (T), a long-acting muscarinic antagonist, and olodaterol (O), a long-acting β 2 -agonist, for the treatment of COPD. This post hoc analysis evaluates T+O safety in the subgroup of patients (pts) receiving β-blockers (BBs) in these studies. Comparison between various bituminous binders modified with crumb tyre rubber

The aim of this paper is to show how the rheology, the performance and the storage stability of different bituminous binders, obtained from two bitumens with different asphaltenes content, change their properties when they are modified with recycled tyre crumb rubber. Physical, chemical and performance characterisation followed by rheological and storage stability analyses have been undertaken as the basis for the comparison. The results of the investigation indicate that bitumen with lower asphaltenes content is more influenced by the modification with the rubber. Autore izvēlējās tematu „Apdrošināšanas jomas ārpustiesas un tiesvedības strīdu problemātika”, ar mērķi izpētīt pastāvošo problemātiku saistībā ar ārpustiesas strīdiem un strīdiem, kuros tikusi ierosināta tiesvedība par apdrošināšanas atlīdzību izmaksu apmēriem, atteikumiem izmaksāt apdrošināšanas atlīdzību un regresa prasībām. Analizējot problemātiku normatīvā regulējuma un atsevišķu tiesas spriedumu ietvarus, autore secina, ka sabiedrībā ir nepietiekama izpratne par apdrošināšanas būtību, kā rezultātā, apdrošināšanas normatīvais regulējums tiek tendenciozi piemērots Autore piedāvā divu likuma „Par apdrošināšanas līgumu” normu jaunu redakciju.
