Allusioni plautine ne «Gli ultimi giorni di Pompei» di Edward Bulwer-Lytton

This note presents the summary and the analysis of citations, allusions and references to Plautus’s comedies in «The Last Days of Pompeii» by Edward Bulwer-Lytton. From the analysis here conducted it emerges that the English writer used Plautus for precise purposes, for ironic and satirical resolutions, appropriately contextualizing the allusions to Plautus within the plot of the novel.

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Eiropas Savienības ietekme uz publiskās pārvaldes reformu: Latvijas gadījuma analīze”. Darbā aplūkotā problēma ir Latvijas publiskās pārvaldes sektora veidošana atbilstoši ES prasībām. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek skatīts eiropeizācijas jēdziens. Empīriskajā daļā tiek veikta gadījuma analīze, kuras ietvaros, ar kvalitatīvās kontentanalīzes palīdzību, tiek analizēti Latvijas progresa ziņojumi laika posmā no 1998. līdz 2002. g. Abstract The development of small to medium size, autonomous and robust desalination units is needed to establish an independent water supply in remote areas. This is the motivation for research on alternative desalination processes. Membrane distillation (MD) seems to meet the specific requirements very well. This work is focused on experimental studies on full scale demonstration systems, utilizing a parallel multi MD-module setup. Il saggio analizza i recenti sviluppi della contrattazione collettiva in Europa del Sud all’insegna del trinomio aziendalizzazione-europeizzazione-americanizzazione: nonostante le differenze strutturali, i sistemi analizzati hanno notevolmente rafforzato il ruolo del contratto aziendale nel sistema delle fonti rispetto alla legge e al contratto nazionale, oltre che funzionalizzato la rappresentanza dei lavoratori in azienda a meccanismi di verifica effettiva del consenso. Todos estos cambios fueron debidos al desarrollo industrial, los avances técnicos, la evolución en los sistemas de trasporte y a la difusión de la publicidad, de los periódicos y de las revistas; reduciéndose, por tanto, los costes medios de producción y consiguiendo que aparentemente la moda fuese accesible a todo el mundo. Carbon Monoxide in the Cold Debris of Supernova 1987A

We report spectroscopic and imaging observations of rotational transitions of cold CO and SiO in the ejecta of SN1987A, the first such emission detected in a supernova remnant. In addition to line luminosities for the CO J=1-0, 2-1, 6-5, and 7-6 transitions, we present upper limits for all other transitions up to J=13-12, collectively measured from the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA), the Atacama Pathfinder EXperiment (APEX), and the Herschel Spectral and Photometric Imaging REceiver (SPIRE). Simple models show the lines are emitted from at least 0.01 solar masses of CO at a temperature > 14 K, confined within at most 35% of a spherical volume expanding at ~ 2000 km/s. Moreover, we…
