Abstract Research indicates that university students fail to exhibit satisfactory levels of health-oriented behaviors regarding their diets, physical activity, preventive practices, alcohol and drug use, coping with stress, personal relationships and mental health. This study examines the differences in health behaviors between genders and BA majors. The purpose of this study was to identify student clusters with homogenous profiles in perceptions of task- and ego-involving, autonomy, and social relatedness supporting motivational climate in school physical education. The present study aimed to: (1) translate the Basic Psychological Needs in Physical Education Scale (BPNPE Scale; Vlachopoulos, Katarzi, & Kontou, 2011) to Filipino, and (2) examine the reliability and validity of the Filipino version. The aim of this study was the examination of relationships between children’s perceptions of motivational climate, goal orientation, and their engagement in light- to vigorous-intensity physical activity. The sample comprised 585 school children at age of 11 to 16-year-old from three small cities located in Northeast-Finland. Liikunnanopettajaksi vuosina 1984 - 2004 valmistuneiden työtyytyväisyys

Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää liikunnanopettajiksi vuosina 1984–2004 valmistuneiden työtyytyväisyyttä ja siihen vaikuttavia tekijöitä. Tutkimukseen osallistui yhteensä 621 liikunnanopettajan ammatissa toimivaa henkilöä (naisia 326, miehiä 295). Tutkimus suoritettiin strukturoiduilla kyselylomakkeilla vastavalmistuneille liikunnanopettajille vuonna 2008 sekä kokeneemmille liikunnanopettajille vuonna 2009. Tutkimusaineiston analysointiin käytettiin t-testiä sekä yksi- ja kaksisuuntaista varianssianalyysia.
