El monogramista F.D.V. ¿Frans de Vriendt? A propósito de una Susana y los viejos firmada y fechada en 1543

En este artículo analizamos una pintura flamenca inédita, que representa la escena de Susana y los viejos. Se conserva en una colección particular de Cartagena (Murcia). Está fechada en 1543 y firmada por F.D.V., monograma que plantea la principal incógnita de nuestra investigación. Tales siglas hacen pensar de inmediato en el pintor Frans Floris de Vriendt. En este sentido, los rasgos estilísticos de la obra están próximos al espíritu de este maestro. Sin embargo, diversas cuestiones nos impiden confirmar por el momento tal autoría. Independent friction-restitution modeling of two-disk collisions

[EN] The oblique collisions between two axisymmetric disks moving on a flat horizontal surface are described in terms of impact modeling based on the assumption that normal and tangential restitution mechanisms operate independently of friction. Describing these mechanisms in terms of the usual Coulomb formulation, the model allows for an interpretation of some ¿anomalous¿ experimental data reported in the literature. The Roman cabarets linked to Futurism were meeting places where the programme of the manifesto Ricostruzione futurista dell’universo was applied. Following the experiences of Bragaglia and Marchi at the Circolo delle Cronache d’Attualità and the setting by Giacomo Balla at the Bal Tic Tac, the entrepreneur and poet Gino Gori commissioned Fortunato Depero to decorate the Cabaret del Diavolo. Based on Dante’s Commedia, Depero would create an integral design of three spaces that configured an allegorical inverted reading of the Florentine poet’s journey to the afterworld. Characterization of traditional artificial patinas on copper using the voltammetry of immobilized particles

[EN] The voltammetry of immobilized particles methodology (VIMP) is used to characterize the composition of artificial patinas on copper. The voltammetric response of carbonate-, nitrate-, chloride-, sulfate-, and sulfide-based patinas is described using sub-microsamples attached to graphite electrodes in contact with aqueous acetate buffer. Patina-characteristic voltammetric profiles are obtained for the different artificial patinas that can be recognized using the generalized Tafel analysis of the voltammetric curves.
