Odnalezione w londyńskich instytucjach naukowych rękopiśmienne dokumenty związane są z niezwykle burzliwymi okresami w dziejach szlacheckiej Rzeczypospolitej. Instrukcja, a w zasadzie punkty z sejmiku województw poznańskiego i kaliskiego z 1701 r. są związane z początkową fazą Wielkiej Wojny Północnej, która zmieniła układ sił w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej. Analizowany sejmik został zerwany, a mimo to upubliczniono wyniki jego prac właśnie w formie punktów. In the article, the multi-faceted cooperation between Poland and Bulgaria in the 1920s in the political, economic and cultural spheres is presented based on Polish archival materials. After the end of the First World War, Bulgarians wanted more equal relations with Poland, because they wanted Poland to be an advocate of Bulgaria. The motto of Polish Balkan policy was, above all, cooperation with Romania in the event of a war threat from Soviet Russia (later USSR). August Heylman is one of the forgotten lawyers of the Kingdom of Poland in the 19th century. He was a practician, holding high positions in the then administration and judiciary of the Kingdom. At the same time he occupied himself with scholarly activity. He was one of the main advocates of the historical school of law in the Polish legal science in the 19th century as well as a co-creator of one of the best-known Polish scientific journals edited under the title Themis Polska.

The article presents the changes in railway network in Upper Silesia in the years 1950-1990. In the mentioned period, three main processes of change may be distinguished. The period of the expansion of railway lines, which fell mainly for the years 1950−1980 with varying intensity. Besides the construction of new lines and second tracks, a modernization of technical equipment of the railway lines was undertaken.
