The purpose of this article is to present the peasant movement in the Second Polish Republic in contemporary school history textbooks. On the basis of textbooks, students can learn that the peasant movement arose in Galicia in the late nineteenth century. In the Second Polish Republic there were a few parties named Polish People’s Party. For many years the main party was Polish Peasant party ,,Piast”. After Poland regained independence in 1918, it formed a part of several governments, most notably after the Lanckorona Pact and in the Chjeno-Piast coalition. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine whether wisdom is a mediator in the relation-ships between religious meaning system and social support among older adults. According to the theory of gerotranscendence, associations of religiousness and social support are complex and sug- gest the existence of wisdom in their internal structures. Method: The study included 466 persons aged 50–75. Three measures were used: Religious Meaning System Scale (RMSS), Three-Dimensional Wisdom Scale (3D-WS) and Berlin Social Support Scales (BSSS). The conflict between work and family demands increased during the COVID-19 pandemic due to changes in lifestyle related to the lockdown. This study examines the associations between work-family conflict (WFC) and family-work conflict (FWC) with work-specific, family-specific, and well-being-related variables during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results may be used in practice to improve the well-being of employees by adjusting home-based work and family areas of life to dynamic changes during the pandemic. The subject of the study are the infinitive subordinate clauses (ICP). These infinitive structures, introduced by a perception verb like voir (‘see’), regarder (‘watch’), entendre (‘hear’), écouter (‘listen’) and sentir (‘smell’), are composed of two complements: a noun phrase and a verb infinitive (j’entends les oiseaux chanter ‘I hear birds sing’). We are interested in ICP in a French-Polish traductological perspective. The paper presents new faunistic data on the occurrence of true-bugs Heteroptera in south-eastern Poland. Localities were scattered in 25 UTM squares in five zoogeographical regions: Małopolska Upland, Świętokrzyskie Mts, Western Beskidy Mts, Eastern Beskidy Mts and Bieszczady Mts. This paper, based on a qualitative analysis of adult education literature, presents a comparison of approaches to unemployment-related problems in Poland and the US. Unemployment serves here as a lens through which attitudes towards various areas connected with adult education can be viewed. The conclusions drawn from the research can be both the source of reflection for adult educators in different socio-cultural contexts as well as the starting point for further research related to the topics explored in the text

Artykuł podejmuje problem obsadzania mandatów bez głosowania w wyborach do rad gmin w gminach liczących do 20 tys. mieszkańców. W stosunku do wyborów z 2014 r. liczba takich przypadków wzrosła w 2018 r. o 77%.
