This work is inspired by the accompanying report to the opinion, presented to the European Committee of the Regions and approved by a large majority in Brussels on February 12, 2020, honouring, on the day of the 40th anniversary of the assassination, the memory of Prof. Vittorio Bachelet, vice-president of the Italian Superior Council of the Judiciary, murdered by terrorist hands at the end of the lesson of administrative law at the Faculty of Political Science at the University "La Sapienza" in Rome. The sacrifice of this courageous Catholic jurist is a perennial warning of democratic civilization against the darkness of reason of those who practice hatred and violence.

The Strategy, whose subtitle is Bringing nature back into our lives, seems to speak to people in lock-down, building on their sense of suffocation from strict indoor living and on the beautiful and nourishing memories of moments spent in nature. This article aims at offering a better understanding of the discussion in relation to the individualisation of the employment relationship based on the competency model. Our starting point is the idea that firms use a diversity of procedures to obtain the competencies they need. Based on a survey of five Portuguese banks, this article shows that firms use policies of incitation in order to make workers to mobilise the right competencies : in this respect, earning policies appear to be the mean of resolving problems of coordination. The aim of this paper is to find the role played by non‐governmental organizations (NGOs) in the implementation of the active labour market policies (ALMPs) of Finland and Sweden, and also the relationship that the NGOs have with the government of the two countries.Design/methodology/approachTwo NGOs were selected in Finland and one NGO was selected in Sweden for the data collection. Abstract The national tourism development master plan for the period 2007-2026 focuses on tourism resources of the regions. The regional tourism development strategy should have the opportunities and threats that are found in every county of the region as guide marks. Their identification leads to facilitate the implementation of tourism development strategy, the opportunity maximum use being the revival and growth ramp of tourist activities, preventing threats ensure the proper functioning of the implementation process. Pricing the Option to Surrender in Incomplete Markets

New international accounting standards require insurers to reflect the value of embedded options and guarantees in their products. Pricing techniques based on the Black and Scholes paradigm are often used; however, the hypotheses underneath this model are rarely met. We propose a framework that encompasses the most known sources of incompleteness. We show that the surrender option, joined with a wide range of claims embedded in insurance contracts, can be priced through our tool, and deliver hedging portfolios to mitigate the risk arising from their positions. We provide extensive empirical analysis to highlight the effect of incompleteness on the fair value of the option.
More firms, more competition? The case of the fourth operator in France's mobile phone market
