Instead, various host constructions such as the free-affectee construction (a subtype of which is the free-dative construction), monotransitive or applicative construction can – to a different degree – accommodate participants that are bound by a possession relation. [Abstrac] Women’s football is a phenomenon that is experiencing an unstoppable increase in recent years. The objective of this study was to analyze how ball possessions are performed in highperformance women’s football. For this, the 52 matches played by all the national teams participating in the Women’s World Cup 2015 were analyzed. A total of 3740 ball possessions were examined. Using the “move outcome” variable as a reference criterion, a statistically significant relationship was found between possessions that ended in success and possessions that have failed. This article offers a critical review of the Spanish pronominal system (personal, possessive and demonstrative pronouns) as described in Nebrija's works and in those of the 16th and 17th century grammarians. These texts show that the history of grammatics is frequently a history of errors. In fact, the methodology conveniences they chose to establish regular models, led grammarians to false the reality of the language. Quite frequently also, as they intended to develop the grammatical thinking establishing certain categories or divisions among them, these authors originated errors that have been perpetuated in their texts. When we talk with basic education´s teachers there is an impression in the case of learning Social Sciences, and Geography in particular that these sciences are not useful for the explanation of socio-environmental and daily problems. In this research, improvement proposals are sought so that students are motivated to learn about these problems.
