Eccentric chainrings have been commercialised to improve pedalling performance, but little is known about their possible effects in the first pedal strokes (PS) of maximal sprint starts. Definition of the thermographic regions of interest in cycling by using a factor analysis

Abstract Research in exercise physiology using infrared thermography has increased in the last years. However, the definition of the Regions of Interest (ROIs) varies strongly between studies. Therefore, the aim of this study was to use a factor analysis approach to define highly correlated groups of thermographic ROIs during a cycling test. Recently, there has been an increased interest in bridging the knowledge gap in the occurrence and fate of pharmaceuticals in African urban water  cycles. In this study, the occurrence of 7 antibiotics and 3 antiretrovirals in source-separated urine, groundwater, wastewater and surface water of the peri-urban area of Chunga in Lusaka, Zambia, was studied. In groundwater, the pharmaceuticals were only sporadically present with 4 antibiotics and 1 antiretroviral detected. Abstract In this paper we proposed to identify the optimum milling parameter required for finishing processes performed on 3Dprinted parts from ABS and PLA materials. We have identified the optimum milling parameters for a constant spindle speed of 3500 rot/min for face milling and profile contouring operations with different tools diameters. The study was performed on 3D printed specimens from ABS and PLA materials.
