W krótkim tekście przedstawiono dwa przypadki walki władz komunistycznych z instytucjami kościelnymi w Polsce Ludowej. Gdańskie przedszkole prowadzone przez siostry zakonne pod szyldem „państwowego Caritas” zostało zlikwidowane – podobnie jak wiele innych w całym kraju – bez podania jakiejkolwiek racjonalnej podstawy prawnej. Placówki prowadzone w ramach Zrzeszenia Katolików „Caritas” władze najwyraźniej uważały już za „swoje”. Przy okazji przejęcia placówek przejmowano prawie zawsze budynek będący własnością kościelną i zwalniano personel zakonny. Childhood neglect and poor child–parent relationships have been reported to increase substance use disorders susceptibility. Stressful environmental factors, including emotional neglect, could affect individual personality traits and mental health, possibly inducing stable changes in hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal (HPA) axis and brain mono-amine function, in turn involved in addictive behavior vulnerability. Zdaniem autora przypadek ten dobrze ilustruje realia, w jakich przyszło żyć duchowieństwu w Polskiej Rzeczypospolitej Ludowej. Wojciech Kloc, ze Zgromadzenia Braci Albertynów, prowadził handel dewocjonaliami w celu zarobienia pieniędzy na remont dachu domu zakonnego. Synchronization methods are used to obtain higher fertility when artificial insemination (AI) is applied to lactating rabbit does. The most common methods are eCG administration or temporary doe–litter separation. Nevertheless, drawbacks have been reported, such as negative side effects of hormonal treatment in the doe and low litter growth due to absence of suckling, respectively. Recently, improved reproductive performance (without visible consequences on young rabbit growth), has been obtained by applying a 2-day controlled nursing method before AI, by allowing for a 10 min nursing of the litter 24 h of separation. After the Second World War Ryszard Zakrzewski (1913–1994) was a well-known exile political and social activist in Great Britain. In the late 1940s he became one of the leaders of the Polish Socialist Party in emigration. He was also active in the Polish Ex-Combatants’ Association and the Federation of Poles in Great Britain. In 1956, the intelligence of the Polish People’s Republic got interested in his person.
