On the tensor degree of finite groups

We study the number of elements $x$ and $y$ of a finite group $G$ such that $x \otimes y= 1_{_{G \otimes G}}$ in the nonabelian tensor square $G \otimes G$ of $G$. This number, divided by $|G|^2$, is called the tensor degree of $G$ and has connection with the exterior degree, introduced few years ago in [P. Niroomand and R. Rezaei, On the exterior degree of finite groups, Comm. Algebra 39 (2011), 335--343]. The analysis of upper and lower bounds of the tensor degree allows us to find interesting structural restrictions for the whole group.
Kvantu algoritmi algoritmiskās ģeometrijas uzdevumiem

Viens no svarīgākajiem uzdevumiem teorētiskajā datorzinātnē ir 3SUM uzdevums. 3SUM uzdevumu var formulēt sekojoši: ir dota kopa S ar n veseliem skaitļiem, ir jānoteic, vai eksistē tādi a, b, c ∈ S, ka a + b + c = 0. Šim uzdevumam algoritms ar sarežģītību O(n^(2-ϵ)) nav zināms. Uzdevums 3SUM ir reducējams uz daudziem ģeometriskajiem uzdevumiem, un tiem algoritms ar sarežģītību O(n^(2-ϵ)) arī nav zināms. Darbā ir apvienotas divas svarīgas datorzinātnes nozares: kvantu skaitļošana un algoritmiskā ģeometrija ar mērķi izveidot kvantu algoritmus 3SUM-HARD klases ģeometriskajiem uzdevumiem. Daudziem no tiem ir atrasts kvantu algoritms ar sarežģītību O(n^(1+o(1))).
Superallowed α Decay to Doubly Magic 100Sn

We report the first observation of the 108Xe→104Te→100Sn α-decay chain. The α emitters, 108Xe [Eα=4.4(2) MeV, T1/2=58+106−23 μs] and 104Te [Eα=4.9(2) MeV, T1/2<18 ns], decaying into doubly magic 100Sn were produced using a fusion-evaporation reaction 54Fe(58Ni,4n)108Xe, and identified with a recoil mass separator and an implantation-decay correlation technique. This is the first time α radioactivity has been observed to a heavy self-conjugate nucleus. A previous benchmark for study of this fundamental decay mode has been the decay of 212Po into doubly magic 208Pb. Jest to aktualnie najbogatsze na świecie źródło danych tekstowych w postaci cyfrowej. Zbiory Google Books można nazwać korpusem, ale zasadniczo różnią się one od tradycyjnych korpusów językowych. Kłopoty klasyfikacyjne wynikają z konkretnych ograniczeń, z jakimi trzeba się zmierzyć w trakcie badań. Fonētiskās problēmas angļu valodas apgūšanā ir viena no aktuālām mūsdienas pro-blēmam. Bieži vien, komunicējot, cilvēki nemaz nepamana ka šāda problēma eksistē, bet tieši tas liek klausītājam saprast no kuras valsts, vai reģiona nāk runātājs. Dažos gadījumos tas traucē pilnvertīgi saprast runātāju, tadejādi, neskatoties ka gramatiski runa var būt pareiza tomēr neprecīza izruna var manāmi pazemināt angļu valodas līmeni. In situ hybridization experiments with a labeled DNA probe indicate that the ability to respond to heat shock with the production of the mRNA for the 70 kd heat shock protein is segregated into the ectodermal cells already at the gastrula stage or earlier during the embryonic development of Paracentrotus lividus.
OATS AND FAT-FREE MILK BASED FUNCTIONAL FOOD PRODUCT

The present study addresses problems and solutions related to new functional bio-active food product creation. Commercial rolled oats and fat-free milk were used as raw materials. Limited enzymatic hydrolysis of oat starch was carried out by α-amylase. The lactic acid bacteria strains Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium sp., and commercial starter cultures ABT-1 were cultivated in enzymatically hydrolysed oat mash. Lactobacillus acidophilus was a more active producer of lactic acid, while Bifidobacterium sp. improved the taste properties. A fat-free milk additive was applied to stabilise the texture of the oat mash, and increase the protein content of the final product. All procedure…
